No No No - Not Giving Up The Sunrise Safari

VAGAL - They can't make you give up the Sunrise Safari. All the things in life you give up for them and now they want this. Nope just can not happen! I refuse to believe this!

They didn't really make you......Did they? I am so very sorry.

You seem to have a good attitude about going back. But, I would let my family know that the Sunrise Safari is ON for the next trip. Ok...I off my rant! Pass the Zebra domes and let me settle down a little bit here.


Last night I posted a fairly long post answering Quitegirl's questions about the pre arrival mail-out. I also had some questions for you all. My post disappeared. Geez, and now I am at work and can't remember what all I wanted to ask. Must be brain burn from working too hard.

Thank you all for the good wishes on my 500th post. I guess I was expecting something special to happen...like change me over to a higher level than "mousketeer". Guess I have to wait till 1000 posts. But it was fun to party with you all. Thank you

I am hitting my 1 month mark and am looking for as many pictures as I can to look at. I am really surprised how little pictures I took last trip. I think I spent too little time at the hotel since I was there for only 5 days and it was DBF first trip so we did a lot of the parks. Although we loved going for a dip in the pool every night. This trip though I am planning on taking tons of pictures of the hotel...getting some great ideas here.

Angel - I booked the safari thinking they'd really want to do it. It's down to the wire they so I was firming up our plans as they looked at me as if have I have three eyeballs or something for wanting to do it since they have to get up so early. I told them they bail on me this time but next time we are soooo doing it. No questions asked and no rants. Our dates have changed and it's not falling on a safari day either. That's okay. You know AKL is one of my very, very favorite resorts. *In my best terminator voice* I'll be back.

I have no idea what the headboard represents, but I'm sure it has some underlying meaning. They never do something just because it's pretty. I guess I could ask and find out.

In less than 3 weeks I will be down to the World and will be having my 1st stay at AKL! Very excited.
I've eaten at BOMA a few times (hello zebra domes!) and love it. Can't wait to see what it'll be like

We saw that outfit at Zawadi Marketplace and fell in love with it, then when we looked at the $ tag............ we almost fainted!!!! $19.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I mean there was NO WAY I was going to pass it up! Plus, it's really cute!

Hi Everybody, just thought I'd come out and play. It's so nice to come here after a looooong day at work. I'm trying really hard to make it here more often.

wendypooh Thanks so much for the georgous pics. I have one with the sun coming over the Lodge facing it from Arusha Rock. When I have enough posts, I'll put it up. Love the pic of the headboard!!! I take pictures of things like that too. When I went in September, I took 350 pictures a day. I'm convinced I don't have one of everything yet. It's why I go back.

I only booked a standard room because I never spend much time (ha! any time) in it. I really don't want to spend the extra bucks now, but next time I'll have to try it. I'm definitely spending my first day at the Lodge and not going to any of the parks. I want to do the culinary tour...for sure.

I'm with ya on the zebra dome addiction. I've eaten at Boma twice now and the first thing I do is head for them on the buffet. I swear. Everytime I go to that restaurant, I end up waddling back to my hotel room. Those things are mmmmmmmmgood!!!!
