Once converted, you'd lose the daybed and closet, but gain an armoire, queen pull out, kitchenette (with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee pot, etc) and flat screen TV and DVD player. The "studios" will sleep 4.

That, of course, is assuming your room isn't part of the 1BR half a 2BR "lockoff" suite...which it might be....not sure on that. But I'm assuming you don't need that EXACT room, and just one very much like it.

That's great to hear prncssmel!! I'm using Small World Vacations too and I trust my TA too. I was starting to get worried wondering if I should email her but now I'm just going to stick it out. Can't wait to go!

My sister and I decided in 2003 that we would like to stay AKL CL and planned it for 11/06! We did that because we wanted to do both the sunrise safari and the sunset safari. Yes, you do pay extra for the safaris, but it was sooo worth it!!! And the lounge was nice to go and get food to bring back to the room and sit on the balcony and watch the animals. The rooms were lovely, and there was so much to see at the resort, and really not enough time even though we left two half days for the resort only! I did not feel that we got any extra service above what I had gotten at any other Disney resort in our room, but the experience of the safaris made the experience worth every cent! In fact, we are hoping to go again some day!

I second that feeling! However, I am a bit more greedy...although I loved those pictures (they truly were stunning)...I WANT MORE!!!

Only a month and a half until I am finally back to AKL. I have a feeling it will be a LONG wait!

We have never stayed at AKL at the concierge club level before. However we have an upcoming 9 night stay at the club level (concierge) at AKL.

So far, without even stepping on site I can tell you that we have had the best IPO interactions with Don and Juanita. They are amazing cast members. I truly feel like we are the only trip they are working on every time I speak with them. I cannot speak highly enough about them.

Also, I am really looking forward to taking part in the Sunset Safari at AKL. I have heard such great things!!

As far as Disney club level in general, we have done that at other resorts and I really enjoy the small things. YES, I could pay a lot less and just get a CS breakfast every morning, but I like stepping out of my room and into the lounge and grabbing a quick bite on the way to the parks. I like the fact that we can grab a sweet treat on the way back to our room at night. I like having someone who can take the time to call to check on things for me. It's not a good trade off money wise if you are just counting the what concrete do I get to what do I have to pay. That said...it's still a wonderful way to vacation!
