hey all I'm back! We had a wonderful trip I wish we weres still there. I'm hoping to post up some pictures today from our stay. We were upgraded from standard pool to a deluxe pool view on the 5th floor and loved our room. It really came in handy when deciding whether or not to go to the pool because it closed quite a few afternoons because of bad weather in the area. It was room 5424.

Especially AKL Concierge gods-
Please lend me some of your divine wisdom.
So I’ve seen on a few AKL reviews / trip reports that when people arrive at the AKL front gate
with a car and identify themselves Concierge guests they are given a sticker or a slip of paper
to place in the car window that delineates them as AKL Concierge guest and upon arrival at the portico their car
is valeted and they are whisked up to Concierge guest services on gossamer wings!
So my question is this - Is this a one time occurrence -
or are you valeted free for the rest of the stay -
and do you know if we dine at other WDW hotels will we be
valeted free there as well?

I know when we stayed AKL concierge in March 03, we were met and taken right upstairs from the portico by a very nice WDW suit, Stephen. The car and baggage were handled for us. I gave Stephen the tip to give the valet and bell services people.

You are charged for valet parking just like anyone else. It's added to your bill. Once you have paid that day at AKL, you do not have to pay at another WDW resort. They put a cute Mikey card on your dash to show you have paid.

In thinking about this, I don't remember if the guard gives you anything or not. I always assumed he/she saw you were conciege when checking the list and they radioed ahead. Stephen was waiting at the curb as we drove up. There was no time to look at a pass once we got up there and call him.

I know recently I have gotten my parking pass when I check in, but they were all non concierge stays.

I'm wondering whether or not the parking pass shows you are concierge? It just looked like a regular parking pass to me. Curious minds want to know!
