The Concierge Planning Staff (Don, Juanita, etc.) have an office on another floor at the AKL. I brought a gift for them and was told I had to leave it at the Concierge Desk and they would make sure that the planning staff got it.

It depends... .they switch around every few months (6 months?) the lounge staff will become the IPO's and the Don & Juanita will come back to the lounge.

Also, they do come through the lounge even though they are not working from there - I have seen them before and said Hi.

hi to all, we finally reached the point were we will be leaving tommorow and we are ready!!!, just wanted to stop in and say thanks very much to all who has posted such great information about the akl, all the info has helped out so much in our planning, again thanx to all and hope everybody is having a great day

We had a coffee maker, I do belive they are in all the rooms.

I do recall having a coffee maker in the room... but I never tried it

Can someone please let me know whether a coffeemaker is provided in the rooms? I did request one on the online booking form, but I don't know whether they are in the rooms as standard, or if you need to request again on check-in.

I know you'd pointed this out a few weeks back but wondering if anyone has reported otherwise as of yet? Maybe it being off the menu was temporary?

Probably not..I know...but others are asking (I've pointed them to this thread) and I want to make sure I'm still handing out the most correct info.
