...still can't even think about packing until I finish my portfolio binder and send it off in the mail, which, I'm told, is gonna cost $20 (plus $20 to send it back!) to mail....

I'm so anxious to watch Great Hotels tonight! I've had it written in my calendar for a few weeks already. Had a rough day...took DD8 to see her dad (who she only sees 2-3 times a year - his choice) because her dad and his GF had a baby girl Sunday. DD is THRILLED to have a new sister, and I'm home alone the rest of the week feeling sorry for myself. So I'm gonna open a bottle of wine and watch AKL tonight! Probably a good thing DD is gone, or I'm SURE I'd let it slip about where we are really staying in September (she thinks it's ASMo but really it's AKL)

Wendypooh, We are looking forward to our Feb trip, we're going to do the dining plan although it won't be free then We are watching AKL on Tivo now, DD's say they're going w/ us.

Oh, I forgot to mention this but about a week ago on the local (Nashville) news there was a story about a Middle TN woman who has taken a job as "Devine" at AK! I didn't know her but all the same I thought it was exciting.

Yes, we saw her on our first trip. DH is a hunting fanatic and he said that he was going to dress like her for hunting season, stilts and all.

What a great suprise that will be for her!!! I hope you enjoyed the great hotels show. The show makes me really want to enjoy the Royal Asanti suite
