Regarding WDW merchandise, such as coin holders, etc., I believe one has to go to the parks/resorts to buy. However, there is www.disneydirect.com, which has lots of neat stuff. It seems that one does not carry what the other does. I have never seen what you mentioned on this website. I have never seen at the parks things offered on the website. I hope this helps.

I'm not really sure who your post was directed at, but if it is regarding the website I listed, Peggy buys all of the items she gets from Downtown Disney directly. Anything that you can purchase in the parks, she gets and sells in her custom baskets. She does have the pressed penny holders on her site, as well as many other things. I'm not saying one site is better than the other, the one you listed is good too, but Peggy does have pretty much anything you can buy in the parks.

The program is 11:30 et, so it should be on at 10:30 central. Sorry again for any confusion I inadvertantly caused by mixing up the dates. I forgot I asked the Travel Channel to send me a reminder 2 days ahead of schedule and not one day!

Just returned on Sunday from our trip. We were there from 7/14 utnil 7/23.

I absolutely LOVE AKL!!!

We were in room 5303. My 3 yo dd has cried everyday since we have returned because she can't look outside & see giraffes & zebras!!!

AKL is now my favorite resort!

Mousekeeping was excellent. We had so many towel animals it wasn't funny.... We ran out of places to put them!!

The resort is absolutely gorgeous! The staff was wonderful.

Ok now I've had coffee so I can be more coherent....

Scoutsmom-Are Peg's baskets nice-DD and DS have grandparents who would love to send them something... ....

As for myself, I 've been taken under the influence of a certain Jambo bunch member who has a talent for making pretty glittery avatars... ...who has hooked me on ebay and I've begun accumulating things-so I'll probably have accumulated more than enough stuff to make my own baskets...ok Wendy come out, -so do you put your baskets together before you leave home and hide them? How do you manage this?

But, hey your DS & DD are gonna just LOVE me!!!!

Yes, this past trip I did make DS's basket, I had it all packaged up and in our trunk!!! Since we drive down, it makes it much easier. When DH and the bellhop unloaded the car, I just kept DS busy so he wouldn't see anything......... they left the basket in the trunk. Then when DH went to park the car he brought it with him, then gave it and instructions to another CM who was out there. She was wonderful and walked in behind DH, then she went to the back of the check-in area and came out with it........ suprising DS with it. They were all into it and everyone thought it was great, he was almost crying he was so happy "Mickey" had sent him a basket!!!! It was really easy actually. NOW, if you are flying down........... I don't know how you could do it? This time, I am making him a basket, I'm pretty sure, but I'm also ordering some things from Peggy, so the basket from her is the one he'll get upon arrival. The basket I make I will just put out in the room at some point -- hopefully without him seeing it!!!

Ok this is too funny because I have been buying up stuff on E-bay to make welcome purses for my mom and sister. I have straw purses that I'm filling with all sorts of travel size "spa escape esq" (warming face mask, foot soak, toning lotion, aloe vera, etc) and a few disney related items (hand held fan, chapstick w/spf, cool wrap neck ties) items for them. The other day on Disney shopping I picked up some cute eeyore flip flops for my sister to put in her purse. I will just have to kick my mother out of the room while I get it all set-up. I'm also doing a basket from Peggy with some disney goodies and a plush for me and my sister. I have never done one of her baskets before because last year she stopped making the baskets right before my trip.
