...another alternative would be to take a bus to AK and transfer over to get a bus to the Poly....you might want to consider this if it's EE day [at AK] on the morning of your ressie for O'Hana's....

I just called again still no conceirge rooms...ANYWHERE... apparently there must have been very few of them available for the discount & they are G-O-N-E!

Thanks! That sounds great! The only request I have made is to be near an elevator as I have a bad knee.

..I would not ask for a room near the elevator, but rather, a room near the LOBBY.....there are several elevators located on the outskirts of the 'arms' (wings) of the main part of the AKL and you would have quite a walk. Specify your request over the phone and be specific to explain that you have a bad knee - they will do their utmost to try to accomodate you...

Wow- I'm on page 203 and deep into Bob's romantic anniversary getaway that he planned for his bride Susan - this thread is awesome!!!

Hey, I really need one of those AKL tickers - do I have enough posts to get one? Even after reading 203 pages I still haven't figured it out!

Good to know!! Thank you! I will change my request when I make my daily call to check on concierge! Do you know, are the Savannah view w/bunks scattered around, on different floors etc? That's what we have.

LOL, I remember Bob's getaway! I had tears in certain points, such a great trip report! I can't believe that's way back on page 203...wow...!

You should be able to click on one of those who have a AKL ticker and make one from the page it takes you to. If I remember correctly you have to browse through a few pages until the AKL ones show up-I think there are three different ones...not sure though. Also, I made one about 4 times before it would actually show up. Before that it just kept being a broken image-I think the ticker site is a bit flakey at times.

When are you going to AKL?

This too is totally off topic, but I wanted to share with everyone on this board...

My DH and I found out very recently that we are pregnant! August 25 is the due date for our little one... Pretty exciting and COMPLETELY unexpected, but it's a good surprise!

Lol, actually, I told him what I did (without his consent or knowledge) and he was thrilled. We had pool view & he asked if we would be able to see the animals. So... I called & switched to Savannah. Now he wants concierge!

Can you point me in the right direction? AKL ticker?? & Bob's trip report?? Thanks! BTW, we are going to be there at the same time! You are staying longer. We are heading over to Universal for a few days at the end of our trip.
