Jambo in oct?

So I have AKL Jambo booked for 8 nights starting October 17. We are not fans of Kidani. Does anyone have any thoughts or even inside information if they will still be consolidating the two in October? Again I know everything is up in the air and subject to change. Thanks in advance

Are you in a villa or regular room? The list of resorts opening on another thread show AK Jambo House Villas opening July 10th, but not the regular AKL rooms.

We are AKL Jambo , not villas for Nov. So far I see from the update they are opening the Villas at Jambo, not the regular rooms.

I don't think anyone knows what happens 3 weeks from now, let alone 3 months.

Jambo villas are now reported as opening on July 10th...internal to CMs right now,

However, AKL has not been announced.

No inside info, but I expect with the profit margins on the deluxe that as long as there are adequate customers it will open

Also with the excess DVC points out there now the number of empty villas will likely be limited.

There are quite a few days (weekends in particular) in October where where for studios at kidani is fully booked and Jambo is even more booked

We are booked for July AKL Jambo, I am curious if they will just move us to a villa. I have already done the online check in and it still has AKL Savanna View room. I guess we will see when we arrive
