Great update! That buffet looked so yummy, especially since it hadn't been touched yet! I laughed out loud when you talked about how you, Jasmine and Jeff ended up matching each day because all those poor people who spend all that time buying matching T-shirts or meticulously coordinating their family's outfits at Disney and you just luck into the matching!

Can't wait to see what's up next, my guess is a spin on Expedition Everest! But I'm sure you grabbed some safari FPs first, since you're right near there at Tusker House.

I love how empty and peaceful AK looks - obviously we didn't get up early enough to enjoy an empty park but I may try and attempt it on a future trip.

I laughed at Jeff trying to play the character experience down and it cutting into his eating time!

Great update Queen. We love Tusker House-it was our first WDW restaurant, and it holds a special place in our hearts! That's great about the new furniture. I notice in this trip report you keep saying you won't be going back to WDW for a couple of years, are you trying to convince us or yourself?

Whew I am finally back to see how the trip is going. I have a ton to comment on!! lol
Glad to hear the new job is going well. And glad your new team is making your job easier!! Who doesn't love that!! Congrats on all your bonuses lately, I did the gold a couple of years ago and was pleasantly surprised as well. Hope you post pics of your beautiful new furniture!! I have been saying for years I was getting new furniture, then we go to Disney instead. Sound familiar to about half the people on here?? lol I wanted to plan a trip next year but I just found out my dd's class is going to PARIS, so obviously I am going too. Like I would send my child that far away, that's just wrong. (But at $2000 a person it might be difficult! lol)
The pics of everyone just keep getting better and better, it is clear that everyone gets along and is having the best trip.
I think I got the caramel bar on my last trip, did it have little nuts on it? Or covered in chocolate with nuts? I don't know. I know it was sweet and I would take a little bite and put it back in the bag. I loved it and ate it for 3 days. lol
The margaritas look so yummy!! I have such a weak tolerance for alcohol, I never get anything when I am in Disney, I don't want to jinx feeling awful for 2 days. I had a beer and part of a chocolate martini a few weeks ago and felt terrible for 2 days. It's not fair!! lol

Ok if I remember anything else I will be back. It's nice to have a week off school and only have to work 3 days this week. I miss my Dis!!!

I have to say I immediately noticed they were in matching shirts and assumed it was planned. I made my crew dress to match everyday so I am quite impressed you all could do it spontaneously

Before the park opens breakfasts are the best! I love feeling like you have the place to yourselves

Your TH pics are so cute! We went there too and thought the food and interactions were great.

I laughed because I thought we've done way too many trips and we just know how the color theming goes now

I love that feeling too...I feel so relaxed wandering around, even though we are usually rushing to get somewhere, yet I don't feel that way!

Jeff loved AK, he loved the breakfast at TH and he loved the relaxed feel!

One of DF's favorite shows is Big Bang Theory and we were dying laughing so hard at poor Sheldon's fear of the little bird
I keep it on the PVR and we've watched it about 10 times....Jeff doesn't find it quite as funny as we do though
I love the empty park pictures, its so fun to get in there before all of the rest of the crowds I really enjoyed breakfast at Tusker House last year, but I always feel like I will miss the characters so I cant concentrate on eating

I love early morning breakfasts...best of both worlds, you get a great meal and you're out in the park at the same time as everyone else....that's priceless!

Great update, Queen. Tusker House looks really good (Mary and I are going there with the girls in January for breakfast, I think). Love that you got some unobstructed views of the food.

Jeff looks like he is trying so hard NOT to care about having his picture taken with the characters.

You got great shots of an empty Animal Kingdom. I do love that park and the shops.

She used to be so shy and quiet (and sometimes still is) but Jeff certainly has helped bring her out of her shell

I agree with Jeff. I'm all for the characters coming by and having fun with the kids. But when I'm eating, go somewhere else.

New furniture! Fun! I know Disney trips are fun too, but we do have to have the necessities - food, clothing, shelter, furniture....

I kept putting off the purchasing of furniture to take us to Disney, but I finally bit the bullet and just did it! It was definitely time!

Mmmm. Breakfast buffets are one of my favorite things at Disney! I get super excited about those too.

Okay, all of the boys in my family are like Jeff too, and take their eating very seriously. It is a sport, I tell you. And interrupt that sport, and you're going to be hurt!!

Last weekend I sent Jeff a text and asked if he was eating dinner at his house or when he got to our house...his response "both ... is that ok?" I don't ask anymore, I just make enough for him and he always eats!

We laughed too, but the funny thing most days we didn't notice until we were back at the resort and set up the camera on the tv to look at pictures...then we all laughed!

Once again, I find myself apologizing for not being on here more often to get posts up! Life right now is very hectic and there just seems to be very little time for Dis-ing! Between work and getting ready for the holidays time is flying by! I have to take advantage of the time that Jasmine is off work so we can get out and get some things done too! We headed out first thing yesterday morning to Homesense (she gets a discount there as it's part of the chain that she works for) and got some new pictures and accessories to go with the new furniture, two weeks and it arrives.

Ok, on with the TR!! We had just finished up having a delcious breakfast at TH and were ready to start our day! It was time to head over to EE so off we went!

Jeff thought the theming in this park was fantastic! He had to stop and play and the drums so the girls joined in!

Jeff and Jasmine were both in crazy happy excited moods on this fine morning and they decided to show it, they would run ahead and jump and click their heels. Jeff has this mastered....my Jasmine....not so much Considering she did competitive cheerleading for 4 years and holds a second degree black belt in Taekwondo, you'd think she's be a little more co-ordinated with this....but no

FINALLY!!! I was laughing so hard I have no idea how these pictures got taken! As you can also see, the park is virtually empty so we knew we would have a walk on once we arrived at EE. It was such a great feeling just wandering thur there listening to the birds...it was a great morning!

He thought the Tree of Life was perfection (I believe that's the word he used). I couldn't wait to hit ITTBAB....

Hanging on for dear life...I think she was thinking Jeff was going to "cut her" in line and get on with Jasmine because she kept telling him he was riding with me

The Lost Expedition....how much fun do I have with this? I always go on and on about us not making it back and what if only some of us do....I'm such a mean auntie! The girls are used to me now, but Jeff wasn't impressed with my montage!

Finally make it to the front and it's time to board! I laughed so hard thruout this ride...Jeff was screaming like a little girl! It was priceless! At the end, he told me he did it so the ride would be more fun and enjoyable for me! Ok, we'll go with that one!

The kids decided they were ready for ride KRR but none of the adults were ready so we let them go ahead and we would take the pictures! They had a great time!

I love the hidden Mickey on the sidewalk, never noticed that one before.

I have pics of my girls jumping in the air like that from the last 2 trips. It is the funniest thing trying to get that perfect shot, so I can imagine you laughing hysterically while they were doing it. Such great memories to have!!

How exciting to shop for accessories for your new living room. Christmas morning will be extra special at your house!! I love great pics with great backgrounds, sounds like you will have some beauties. I am happy if there isn't too much wrapping paper and junk in the background when I do mine. lol
