JAMBO Everybody...An August 2011 TR (Completed May 13)

Awesome first morning...all the things we did first as well. In no particular order. LOL I love that Jeff is totally into it. Makes it so much more fun. Can't wait to see some resort pics!

I had every intention of getting this post up last evening but I forgot the Emmy's were on and I just had to watch them! I was so happy that Modern Family cleaned up....I love that show!!!

IMHO one of the best shows on TV.

It's funny how hard the kids are to get up when you're at home but so easy when you remind them where we are and they fly out of bed!

And there's no better sleep than disney sleep.

It was at this point that Jasmine told Jeff to be prepared that "my mom sings at the top of her lungs and dances to the song"! I laughed out loud...yup, and nothing's gonna change on this trip! This is one of my favorite times while we're in the world and I don't care who I embarrass! Jasmine reminds me I only embarrass myself...she loves her mommy!

I told the kids just last night that embarrassing your children is one of the best things about being a parent.

After we left the fairies the kids couldn't wait to get to the rides! I said to Jeff "run over there and I'll get your picture"... yes, I left out the fact that they spray you...he loved it!

Did he get caught?

yup, we was gonna be gettin along just fine...Jasmine had other thoughts!

Hmmm... wonder what that means for the rest of the TR?

So then it was onto HM....I couldn't wait for this!

My favorite MK ride!!!

Mine too! When we first took the kids they were too scared to go on it. So that night after everyone was asleep (yes even DW) I went back to MK (it was EMH) and rode HM 4 times... then went back to the hotel and to bed!

I noticed when I uploaded the pictures that both Jasmine and MM have "auras" around them but not Jeff....odd, don't you think????

Nope. It's a known fact that Cpt. Culpepper is looking for his next bride. Next time get in the picture and I'll bet you have an aura too.

I have not seen the MK rope drop in so long, I will make sure to do that this trip!! I love how happy the family of the day looks!!

Thanks hon I have a funny feeling you just might meet up with them on your next trip Rope drop at the MK just makes my day...I would go all the way to MK just to see the show and then venture off to another park...I'm a little crazy about it

Tanz is such a sweetie! I hope she is having an absolute blast! I am terrible with remembering trip dates, so I can't remember when she returns!

Isn't she though? I keep thinking about her this week and can only imagine what an amazing time they must be having! I knew as soon as he asked me to take a picture that all would be fine between us during the trip I'm with you..freaked me out too! Looking forward to your next update!

I was also thrilled about Modern Family-- so thrilled Ty (Phil on the show) finally won something! He's my favorite!

He's my favorite too He makes me laugh just thinking about him! It was a perfect first morning, absolutely perfect, it's still so vivid in my memory!

Modern Family is one of my favorite shows! I was so excited to hear about all of it's awards and "JAY!!!!" Is one of my favorite quotes I also love, "Do I Mitchell? Do I?". That show is actually really quotable

We'll all be thinking of each other everytime we watch it now!!!

Thanks Mary Ellen Oh....pool drinks...I did consume my fair share on this trip! Both Jas and Jeff were bummed that they couldn't get a drink by the pool, it's tough to be legal age here but not there....don't worry, I had enough for them too!

I'm sure you just forgot to tell him that those Tikis would spray him.

Ummm...yes....it did appear to slip my mind.....

What a fabulous update! How funny that the first thing Jasmine did to her boyfriend is have him meet the fairies! The fact that he did it so happily shows it must be love I love the auras around the girls. Some of the ghosts must have escaped from the ride.

Her uncle bugged her about that too....all the great rides that were just down the way and she made him wait to see the fairies....it must be love When my oldest niece sees that picture with the auras I'm sure we'll never get her on that ride again, never mind the queue outside

Ive seen some of those photos madam, and clearly I need to step up my game. Some of those are FANTASTIC!! Makes me feel like Im there! Great details (as always) and its so much fun to read.

We are such creatures of habit, we always do the same things on our first day at MK! I have some resort pics in my next update

Interesting!! Last year I went on the "Haunted Winnipeg Tour" !
It was very interesting and informative. We learned about "ORBS" showing up in
photos and that it usually means a loved one is with you!
Perhaps the girls grandmother was there with them on your trip the whole time!!

Good news for me! I'm off to Copenhagen at the end of October to visit
DS that is out there for the year! We are going to go to Paris and London while I'm there for a couple side trips!!! I'm so excited!!

Keep the TR coming!!! It sounds like you guys had such a great time!!

I like her spunk too! I tell all my girlfriends who have "spunky" little girls...that every little girl needs a bit of an attitude in this day and age

I am so happy with my pictures from this trip....I keep looking at them over and over reliving all our moments!

Jeff told Jas that he wants to go back when they're 21 because he wants to have a drink in all the countries...great....let's start the planning now, it is only 2 years away!!

I wonder the same thing....you never know!!!

We bought those tiny backpacks in 2004 and they have lasted all these trips....til this one It bit the dust and had a huge rip in it so we are now down to one!

I liked my Heys Travelmate, but I loved my Lug bag on this trip! Couldn't fit as much in it so it made me not take so much to the park! Worked great for me!

Aww you are so sweet! Savoring the moment is right....they are few and far between and I love to enjoy myself!

I have always wanted to go on that tour! I believe that too and I called my sister as soon as I uploaded the pictures to tell her! I think my mom was with us the whole time!

I am so happy you're back! It was such a great surprise and so thoughtful! We couldn't complain about the buses at all, they were beyond great!! Update coming up later this morning!![/COLOR]

I honestly feel that my friends on the Dis know me better than some of the people I have as friends at home. I am the only one in my group of friends that loves Disney this much. Tyler and I would like eating there I know, Dale and Dallas would just have to get them something else to eat. I will be at my 180 day mark on Saturday, so I am going to be booking some ADRs . I have to completely agree! The only one here is my sister but none of my friends get it like we do! It's to the point when we're starting the planning etc that I don't even want to say anything because I know all I'll hear is "AGAIN" don't you know how to go anywhere else? That was my favorite I don't say a word when the majority of my friends go the Mexico year after year...I don't get what's different

We felt my mom's presense so many times on the trip...just wish her and my dad could actually have been there with us!

Here we are and it's Sunday morning yet again and all I can think of is "five weeks ago today we were headed down to WDW" how time flies! The weeks since we returned have been crazy busy! Between work and going to see my dad and trying to get everything else done my TR is suffering so I am going to get this update done before I leave the house today and another one up tonight!

I left off with us leaving the MK to head back "home" for a glorious afternoon by our amazing pool! I think of all the resorts I've stayed at this pool is my favorite!

Before I forget, I forgot to add this picture to my last update. This was my lunch at CHH and it was yummy! I got the fish and chips and it's the only picture of food I have from that lunch. Jasmine and Jeff ended up sitting at a table for two beside us and were half done their meals by the time I got the camera out

As soon as we arrived at the resort we headed upstairs to get out of our park clothes and into our bathing suits! I couldn't wait to grab our seats, get a nice pina colada and just relax in the sunshine! We found this perfect little spot behind one of the lifeguard chairs and it was perfect.

A view from my seat to the left! We loved the new chairs, now maybe they've had them for a little while now, but when we stayed in 2009 they didn't have this kind! They were very comfy!

We all headed to the pool while Jeff headed to the gym! I should have gone with him but I didn't and I didn't all trip The pool was just too inviting! After he returned the girls couldn't wait for him to get into the pool! Thumbs up .... it was play time!

Jeff, MM, Jas and me....MM was trying to learn how to dive off of Jeff and Jasmine, but Jasmine couldn't keep her footing so I had to stand behind her and steady her...I was laughing so hard a few times, I was no help whatsoever

This cracked me up...Jeff was trying his hardest to float and just couldn't so MM decided that it was going to be her personal mission to teach him by the end of the trip! Here is his first lesson! Peg, SW and Geodoc having their own fun in the background!

This picture made me laugh, I was zooming in on Peg, SW and Geodoc when Jeff did his "signature" thumbs up /...pictures not the best quality, but it made me laugh that everyone was getting into the "thumbs up" mode!

Peg and SW and Jeff and MM....they never got out of that pool all afternoon

Mini Montana finally gave up on Jeff, she didn't think he was trying hard enough to learn how to float so Jasmine took over! As soon as she would let him go, down he went....I eventually tried to teach him too...let's just say, none of us were successful!!!

We had the best first day at the pool and I was keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of our vacation those darn hurricanes would stay away so we could continue to enjoy our afternoons at the resort!!

Up next.....dinner at our favorite restaurant!!!!
