Welcome! ....and wow, I'm impressed that you read the whole thing before bed, glad I didn't bore you to sleep We had a great trip and I can't wait to tell you all about the second week of it!

Ha, well you DID notice that I posted around 1 a.m., right? I was heading to bed earlier, but then someone bumped your TR up and once I saw it was at Jambo (just had my first stay there last week) I was hooked! I can't believe you got two weeks there - your trip looks like so much fun, with fun people, and I'll be waiting to hear more!

I've tried 3 times today to get this update to post and if it doesn't work this time I give up! Very frustrating!

Ugh! I hate when that happens. Did you have to retype everything? Or were you able to hit the back button and try again?

First, I wanted to give you all an update on Geodoc, Peg and the girl's trip to Turks and Caicos. Apparently they are having a ball and they have seen very little of SW as she is thoroughly loving the kids club....MM not so much....I think she might be the oldest in her group so it's a little boring so she's been hanging with her mom and dad! There last full day is tomorrow and they will be home on Saturday and we can't wait to see them!

That's great that they're having a good trip!

Her favorite park is DHS so that's where we headed bright and early for rope drop

I can never manage that. Oh, I get there early and everything... it's the 'bright' part that I can't quite get a handle on.

I usually torment the children in here but they all moved away from me....hmmm, guess they've caught on!

Since there was no wait when we got off we decided we would ride again. MM was staking out her territory again....she was sitting beside Jasmine and Jeff was sitting on the other side of me. According to MM, he screamed like a little girl and it was embarrassing for her

Finally we made it to the GMR and Jeff told Jasmine to stop cause I would probably want a picture of them in front of it....yup, he's definitely a keeper

Entrance to the ride....I told Jeff it was a documentary about movies thru the years...he didn't believe me, can't imagine why? LOL

I am sooooooooo glad you understand how busy life can get because mine gets just outrageous sometimes!!!!

I'm back to the gym 4 times a week....even the days I don't want to go, I make myself because I know how great I feel afterwards!

Excellent!!!! Yeah, I know what you mean about not wanting to go. Actually I find myself enjoying running days so it's not that hard to get there. But weight lifting days are currently one of the banes of my existence. But I actually discovered a small feeling of abs under the remaining fat so that's encouraging.

I think you should rethink doing a marathon. We don't have to run it, you know. Walking works as long as you can stay under 15 min/mile (or is it 16... can't remember) so you don't get swept. Of course, I'm aiming at 12 min/mile for the Wine & Dine (which I've decided to do) because I'm going to want pics with the characters along the way.

I will admit that post was inspired by Hypermommy.

He was repeatedly saying "To Infinity and Beyond" .... he didn't end up buying it and when we were waiting for out connecting flight in Chicago a guy went by with it on and Jeff turned to Jasmine and said "see, I should have bought it" to which she replied "did I say not to you were the one that said your friends would make fun of you"

If they have them on our next trip, I'm going to buy it for Jeff myself! I have subbed and will be over there as soon as I'm done here! Thanks for letting me know!

I have taken a picture of Jasmine here every year since she was 6...guess this will be the new tradition! I love this picture!

Traditions are marvelous aren't they? And he's such a sweet boy I can definitely see this turning into a new tradition over the years. Just think, in 10 years it'll be pictures of your baby there holding your grandbabies.

(Jas is like 19 now, right? So 29 years old is okay to have babies, I'm guessing? Don't want to rush things... I'm a HUGE believer in waiting to have kids and sowing a few wild oats before you do)

Jeff is funny and he really is such a welcome addition to our family. Last night while we were at the game he texted Jas and said "As long as your enjoying yourself babe, I'm at home studying to build a future for us" we cracked up...that his latest saying! Cracks me up! The game was beyond great ... we had a blast!

I do so like that boy! Glad you had a great time at the game!!

Now on to this TR and the latest update! This day brings us to MM's birthday...how lucky was she that she got to celebrate her birthday on her birthday at her favorite place on earth. She got to plan the entire day, which park we went to, what rides we went on and where we would have her birthday meal!

And did she have almost as much fun planning as she did going? Of course, she did. I know you and Peg are raising that little girl up right!

Now you all know how much MM admires and looks up to Jasmine. Well on this day she wanted her hair just like Jasmine's and she didn't need any help (I asked cause I'm a little OCD about hair) and this was the final product.....too cute for words!

How absolutely precious!!!

I completely understand how that happens...so many days I think I'll just sign on for a few minutes and next thing I know..... We really are blessed that Peg and Geodoc have enough DVC points for us to stay there for 2 weeks.....another update coming right up!

It was such a great day! The thing I loved most about the picture with MM's hair was that she neglected to brush it before putting it a pony We laugh often about Jeff's escapades on the trip ... that's for sure!

I sure do give him a hard time and it hasn't stopped since we got home...I would hate for him to let his guard down

She could plan an excellent vacation! At my mom's funeral, my friends Dave and Diane saw her sitting in a corner at the reception so they went over to chat with her. Dave told her they might be planning a Disney vacation to which Dave later told me they don't need me anymore...she had told them everything they needed to know! She is such a little doll.

She did very well picking our lunch spot .... coming up right away!

It's one of the kid's favorite parks...not my favorite anymore, this getting older thing has hampered my abilities to go on the rides over and over

I will be sending PM's out to everyone this next week...I believe Jasmine has her schedule now!

I hate running, with a passion. I just don't get it but then again I really haven't given it a chance!

Hi Queen! Just got all caught up on your TR! Missed you! Good to see you and Jasmine are doing fine!

I can't believe I haven't been on here since Nov.

You may not know but I am a retail manager so those last months of the year are just a blur of long hours and go go go. (Jasmine can relate, I'm sure)

We were in Disney from Dec. 28 - Jan.6. Was well deserved.
Trip was bittersweet.
Got to see all the fabulous Christmas decorations, castle was breathtakingly beautiful and the weather was in the 70's except for a few unusually cold days.
A welcome change from the heat of August when we normally go.
The Candlelight Processional was lovely.
The bad part was I got very sick the evening of day 2.
Put a damper on NYE. I still went to my DIS meet on the POLY beach but I was so nauseous.
I missed some ADR's and didn't get to see everything I wanted.
My DMom came down with it right after me. Luckily she didn't get it as bad.
We made the most of it.

I have to thank you for inspiring me to book an ADR at Wolfgang Puck Cafe.
It was hands down the best meal of the trip!
I had the Almond Chicken and the Carrot Cake...oh my goodness! It was all you hyped it to be and I loved it!
From now on it is a must do for every trip...so Thanks!

I had to smile when I saw the pic of your new furniture.
We bought the same fireplace unit. You have great taste!
Seems like we were on the same wave lengths last year.
We got a new sectional, tables, tv and dinette. (probably from the same place as you )
It's so nice to have new stuff isn't it?

Wow, that's a very awesome Belle suitcase! I've never seen that one.
Now you just need a trip to go with it!
I found a Heys Tinkerbell one that I just had to have. I got Lexi a Mickey & friends one too.

I'm jealous of your sister's trip to Turks & Caicos. I'm sure it was gorgeous.

If you have a Winner's close to you, check it out. The Belle one I have is the 30", then Cinderella was 26" and Aurora was the carry on....I am kicking myself too for not going back and getting the other two, but right before Jasmine went on her cruise last February she bought a new piece of luggage so we really didn't need more....but there is a difference between need and want isn't there

I promised to update the rest of MM's birthday yesterday but ended up spending the whole day at Peg's. I hate the first day back from vacation when you have so much laundry etc so I packed up everything to make a lasagne and headed over there. We spent a great day looking at there pictures and just enjoying each other's company! Everyone was so nice and tanned and we were white as ghosts! Time for a vacation for us!!

This post finds us still on the GMR....with the gangster! I will never forget our first trip when Jasmine had just turned 6 and when this guy got into our vehicle she just about lost her mind! She didn't get the idea of actors and fake bullets...nope....screamed the rest of the ride! Don't even get me started about her reaction to the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz partLOL

As you can see again from this pic there was hardly anyone in TSM....

Love this drawing,...love this queue, I almost want a bit of a wait in here!

Jeff insisted on a picture with the Green Army Man....he kept feeling Jeff's muscle's...it was quite funny! I was waiting for him to make him do push ups!

From TSM we headed to the Backlot Tour which was a great idea on a very hot August day! We love the Earful Tower! Doesn't Jeff look tired!

Costuming....for someone who can't even sew on a button, I love this place

The Plane the plane....sorry, couldn't resist!

After our tour of the Backlot it was time to head for our lunchtime destination. To get there, we had to head for the boat outside DHS! It took us to the Yacht and Beach Club to have lunch at Beaches and Cream!

The rest of the gang minus Jasmine and MM...they were checking out the hotel!

Once seated I thought to take a picture of the menu....we were seated at two round tables which was perfect!

Jeff and Jasmine eagerly awaiting their lunch!

I love the theming in here....I know I keep saying that but I do! How cute are those lights!

My lunch which was so good....the kids both had hamburger and fries but for some reason I have no picture....probably cause they had already started eating and once they did, there was no stopping for pictures

Then the thing MM had waited all summer for .....THE KITCHEN SINK! Her, SW, Geodoc and Jeff would share this. It contains peanuts stuff so I couldn't have any...they said they would get it without but I know how much they all love peanut sauce so I wasn't going to take that away from them.

The birthday girl....a very happy birthday girl!

Peg and Jasmine ordered their favorite to share the No Way Jose...apparently they dream of this dessert

Jeff's bowl, proof that he actually had dessert once on our trip and boy did he do a good job. I lost count at how many times he filled it up!

I ordered the Milky Way sundae....boy was it yummy, didn't look like I even put a dent in it but what I had I sure enjoyed!

As we were leaving to catch the bus we wandered through the lobby and this was outside of Cape May....Jasmine thought it beautiful!

We wandered out to the buses and decided whichever one came first we would take and then transfer to an AKL bus....

The bus took us to AK and we thought we might go into the park for a bit but then the heaven's opened! While we were waiting for the bus there was the biggest clap of thunder I have ever heard....guess who screamed like a girl and jumped on Jasmine! I'm telling you, we had laughed at Jeff on this trip, but that moment took the cake, the girls still talked about it for months after we were home! People at our bus stop and others also joined in the laughter!

Thank goodness for covered walkways into the Lodge...the only time I had seen rain like this while in Disney was in 2006 during Hurricane Ernesto! We then just headed into the gift shop to wander and then up to our rooms!

We transferred from a resort to AK to AKV before and had the same thing happen...the skies opened up. We were the only dry people. The people running out of the park were soaked. (I guess it was the same time of day...those afternoon showers are pretty dependable!)

I love MM's choice for her bday lunch!! Beaches and Cream has such an awesome atmosphere!

Poor Jeff--he's such a keeper!
