Good luck to you as well! We've lucked out with a partial Savannah view 3 out of our 4 stays at AKL. (Last trip was parking lot, but at least they hid it with pretty tropical plants, LOL!)

Glad Boma is back, can't wait to visit. Are they doing all the activities for kids again around the hotel? I miss the cookie decorating, and talking with cast members where kids get beads at end of each activitiy.

It is fully open. (The dvc website is not updated I guess ...)

We just stayed at CL in Jambo House 3 weeks ago. It was well staffed with terrific cast members and we enjoyed the food and drinks at breakfast, dinner and evening snacks. It was not much different from our stay 2 years ago except for the afternoon where there were only packaged light snacks. You could still get a drink by just asking though.

This may sound crazy, but the last time we stayed in Kidani was like 2014. I vaguely remember a vehicle with a luggage container on top having difficulty with the parking garage. Has anyone driven down with an exterior luggage holder on top of their car? We have a GMC Acadia and I’m trying to make sure we don’t pack in a way that makes parking difficult when we get there. Thanks!

First time staying (and last time) at Jambo this past week. Disappointed as it is being a deluxe hotel. Compare to Coronado Springs Tower, the tower wins hands down. The Tower room was larger, in the bathroom area the toilet was separate from the shower so its easier taking a shower while someone is on the toilet. Our Jambo room had the refresh done, but the fake wood flooring seem loose and buckled against the walls. Also the air conditioning/heating was louder than at the Gran Tower.
The housekeeping was poor. I expected to get the room refreshed every other day. The day it was suppose to happen all they did was take the garbage and restock the coffee, they forgot about the bathroom towels. We called the following morning to replace our towels, what they did was put a plastic bag of towels in the room and left the old towels in the bathroom. Finally the hotel lost power one night, as we came back from the parks into a dark hotel, we had beg to get a flashlight to use in our bedroom....

We have not had a vehicle with luggage rack as you ask about. However, I do recall the parking area under Kidani being extremely spacious - very high ceilings for a parking "garage" area. I don't believe you'll have any problem.

My mother and sister (who didn't pay for a Savannah) got a full Savannah view when we were there Oct 27-Nov 4.

I don’t have a car and am wondering how to approach the early theme park hours at HS. Is it better to rely on AKL buses or does it make sense to take an Uber? Tia

Depends on how early you want to get up and arrive at HS. Getting an Uber/Lyft means you can sleep in a bit more, as it's only an 11 minute drive. If you're waiting for a bus you need to be at at the bus stop 30ish minutes before your preferred arrival time in the park, since it may take a while for a bus to arrive.

We did busses, they were (mostly) reliable -- only one day did we just miss the bus we intended due to 4-y-o wranlging and the next one (per the schedule) didn't come -- from that day on we just added a 20 minute "just to be sure" into our plan and were at every park with ample time to take advantage of Early Entry.

Heck, we even bussed back after the Boo Bash without any waiting (though that was standing room only, I admit)

That‘s very helpful. Thanks I will be jet-lagged and most likely awake at 4 am I thought I might as well be at HS bright and early and try to hop on Rise.
