Jamaica resort day pass

any recommendations on a hotel day pass in Jamaica? Has anyone done a day pass to the Beaches resort?

alternatively, is there a good free / safe beach we can go to with kids?

We booked a day room at the Hilton Rose Hall which was really great. It gave us an all inclusive day plus the room where we could rest, change, shower and store our stuff. The cost was amazing as well. At the time we booked it the cost was $189 for two adults, kids were free. I watched the site constanly and when the price dropped to $130 I rebooked for that rate.

Keep in mind you have to pay for a cab there and back. I think the cost of that was $70 which included tip for round trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We booked the Hilton Rose Hall through resort for a day. Price wasn't terrible...I ended up organizing a group so we got a group discount which helped! I think we are paying about $100 per adult and $60 per kid. It also includes tranportation from the port to the resort and back which is what I really wanted. I got an email saying that port pick up is at 8:30am and we are in port until 4:45pm so even if we stay until 1-2pm I think we will get good bang for our buck! Included is the round trip transfer, food, beverages, etc. We are going in October so I'll leave a review once we've gone!

I used the date of Oct 12, 2 adults, 2 children and I came up with $303 for a partial ocean view room.
When you put in your arrival date use the same date as departure and it will automatically know you want a day room. Don't forget to put in the number of adults and children you want.

i also got $303 for 2 adults /2 kids but jumps to $778 when i input 3 kids.

Is it changing from a room to a suite? With 5 that may be what is happening. What I would do in that case is call the hotel direct (there's a 800 number) and talk to them. If you have others going with you who do not have 4 in a room you could also add the 3rd child on their room.

ETA- since its a day room calling the hotel you may be able to add the 3rd child on with no extra fees.

Having the room was so nice, we actually booked 3 for our whole party. It was nice to have that place to nap, shower after a day in the sun, store our stuff and not have to worry about watching it. I would do it again.
And as I mentioned, if you do book this keep and eye on the rate and if it drops call them and they will give you the better rate.

so i just sent them a message and apparently there are 3 ways to book
1. if going thru Resort for a Day, the ratr includes transportation
2. calling the property directly, u get access to the resort, meals, drinks but no transportation or room
3. booking online gets u a day room to use.


i think i will wait til they have a kids free promo booking online.

Keep looking as the rate will sometimes drop. I booked the rooms at a much higher rate but through checking constantly I managed to get the rate that low. It only lasted a few days and then it went back up.

i read it thanks. now i have 1 more resort to choose from.
I haven't reach much feedback about the Beaches Ocho Rios resort pass. i wonder if it isnt too popular.
