Hum let's see..... Well the tunnels only extend under the Communicore buildings, with one little leg that extends under Mouse Gears (Centoruim when I worked there) Wardrobe is over behind the Mission Space building and to get to the Land/Seas/Image area (the last place I worked was the Land Pavilion) you had to either take the bus all the way around WS or walk in swealtering heat wearing polyester all the way across Future World. You wouldn't believe how long that hill up to the Land becomes somedays.

And this night that I had looked forward too so much, for so long, is a complete blank right now… I do know we headed back to the bus before midnight to beat the crowds.

When you don't have time to take lots of pictures, it usually means you're too wrapped up in having a great time!!

Jaime - If you like to find out info on Walt and you enjoy or can tolerate reading , check out Walt Disney : the triumph of the American imagination by Neal Gabler. Be warned though - it is a very long book, daunting size. I've just started it, but I am sure it will be a great read, if I can make it through.

OK - you win! I ordered it and it came today. And I checked out how big the book was - 800 and some pages - but the last 200 pages are index and footnotes! Excellent!

Pretty cool, huh? The show is tomorrow night at one of the really nice, upscale outdoor amphitheatres here in Georgia (Chastain for any of your Georgians). Anyway, I thought of you when they called me and told me I won!

Oh, something else to tell....I noticed Meg's location is "Tortuga." My boyfriend is from the Cayman Islands and when Columbus landed there, way back when...lol, there were lots and lots of turtles there. Tortuga is the spanish word for Turtles, so he called it Tortuga. So, Meg, and anyone else who really wants to go to Tortuga, can...it's just now called the Cayman Islands.

And what's kinda funny is that Orlando Bloom actually did go to Tortuga,I mean the Cayman Islands...lol, and filmed a movie, called "Haven" which was released in 2004.

Well that is good to know (about the last 200 pages). I haven't leafed through it. To be honest, I checked it out of the library, probably 3 weeks ago. I have already renewed it once and should be able to do it one more time, but I may have to break down and buy it, or ask for it as a gift, b/c it's been 3 weeks and I am only at page 33!!!! Whaaaaaaa! And it is summer too, which means, I am NOT WORKING (teacher here), so I should be reading!

My problem is I keep coming back to the DISboards and reading YOUR, among other's, trip report, so I never have time to read the book! Whaaaa! You and everyone else, I COMMAND you, stop posting so I can read this darn book!

CHAPTER 55: Wait!!! Don’t Clean It Up Yet!!!"– DAY 8: SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2007

PLANS: Last day. Give luggage to bell services, head over to the Magic Kingdom (opens at 9). Back to AKL for Magical Express.

BREAKFAST: Main Street Bakery (CS21,22,23,24)
LUNCH: Casey’s (CS25,26,27,28)
DINNER: Airport

REALITY: It’s over. Well, basically. One last morning in the Magic Kingdom and we’ll have to get on a bus for the airport (WHERE are the Valium?!?!? Oh, there they are…)

We call Bell Services to get the bags. When they are picked up, I ask if they have any way of weighing a bag – my bigger suitcase seems a lot heavier than when I came down here! The bell girl hefts my bag a couple of times and says, "48#, but I’ll weigh it downstairs and write the weight on the back of the ticket." Cool.

And we’re off to catch a bus! First stop today? (Besides Typhoon Lagoon?) The Main Street Bakery! As we enter the bakery, Rhonda points at the window and says, "Oh, look! Horse poop!" Sure enough, out on Main Street, USA, is a big blob of horse poop.

By the way, whenever I tell this story to Lauren and Brooke, they giggle for an extremely long time! I really hope when we take Brooke in September, that we find a nice big pile!

There’s a PhotoPass photographer standing right in front of the poop, so no one walks in it. Rhonda suddenly says, "I’m getting a picture!" and runs out of the bakery. She runs into the street just as the pushcart gets there to clean up the mess –

"Wait!!! Wait!!! Don’t clean it up yet!!!"

Yes, she really did.
