I just booked airfare to Orlando for December!!!!!

My son wants to do the KTTK Tour!!!

This trip is his trip, since his sister got to go to California with me...I am taking hubby for our wedding anniversary and DS because I can. I am also offering Richard Petty and a Segway Tour. The only one he said yes to so far was the KTTK :woohoo:

Thanks for the idea Jaime!

You know, Colleen, that I don't call you tiggerBELLwannabe for nothing! :rotfl2:

That's great - I can't wait to hear about all your trips!!! I recommend the Segway one, too - Meg gets to do it in September. ;) But more on that in the next pre-trip report! :)

CHAPTER 55: Wait!!! Don’t Clean It Up Yet!!!"– DAY 8: SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2007

The Main Street Bakery! As we enter the bakery, Rhonda points at the window and says, "Oh, look! Horse poop!" Sure enough, out on Main Street, USA, is a big blob of horse poop.

There’s a PhotoPass photographer standing right in front of the poop, so no one walks in it. Rhonda suddenly says, "I’m getting a picture!" and runs out of the bakery. She runs into the street just as the pushcart gets there to clean up the mess –

"Wait!!! Wait!!! Don’t clean it up yet!!!"

Yes, she really did.

OK OK If your going to tell what I did and show that picture you have to tell them why I did that. My dream is to work at Disney and I would even clean up after the horse's as long as I would be on Main Street USA

:lmao: :thumbsup2

I look forward to your review...esp Meg's...DS is 21, Meg's review will be very helpful in my figuring out if a Segway Tour is worthy for the boy. I offered to take him to Discovery Cove, Sea World's exclusive Dolphin encounter and Lagoon, he kinda shrugged that one off. He perked up when I told him about visitng utilidors and behind the scenes stuff at Magic Kingdom.

I think he'll like driving at the Richard Petty experience,
I KNOW hubby would like it.

I am open to suggestions people...maybe I should post this over on Nebo's thread :scratchin there's alotta guys over there that could tell me what I guy's idea of a good Disney trip would be~

LYMI!

I think I'd rather be driving the horse's cart rather than cleaning up behind him ....

Good Luck with your future career there Rhonda :duck:

Meg that is too cute! Made me laugh out loud.

Is it really your birthday, happy birthday. Also, tell your mom I said "how you doin"

That's actually Rhonda's new dream, too! She hasn't told that story yet! (I was not there, thus I am not responsible for the sharing of same story. Trip Reporter By-Laws, Chapter 23, Paragraph 7, Sub-Section L9.)

My youngest dd, Lily, asked me once what my dream was. When I told her it was to drive the monorail at Disney World, she said, "Live your dream, Mommy!" with her little arms flung out wide!
You have to love a six year old :)

That's so sweet she asked your dream... all Meg ever asks me is "What's for dinner?" :guilty:

Finally found my Jack - he says hi to your Jack! He also wants to know why your Jack got to go on VACATION while he (my Jack) was trapped in a box!

Martha -

Aw, he's so cute! :lmao:

Wel-l-l-l,

I was enjoying my Hershey bar until I saw the fecal photograph.....

Thanks

Kathy

Kathy - :wave2:

(and anyone else who was eating at the time) sorry for the poop picture. LOVE the phrase "fecal matter" to describe it, though! :happytv:

I love your goofy videos! Work on that school video so everyone can see that!

Missy -

I knew that was going to happen. No, it's not her birthday. Ignore the child.

No arguments here.

Jaime, I just had to post! Yesterday I won tickets from a local radio station to see.....

RICK SPRINGFIELD! :cool1:

Pretty cool, huh? The show is tomorrow night at one of the really nice, upscale outdoor amphitheatres here in Georgia (Chastain for any of your Georgians). Anyway, I thought of you when they called me and told me I won! :)

 ENJOY!!!! He puts on a great show!

Well that is good to know (about the last 200 pages). I haven't leafed through it. To be honest, I checked it out of the library, probably 3 weeks ago. I have already renewed it once and should be able to do it one more time, but I may have to break down and buy it, or ask for it as a gift, b/c it's been 3 weeks and I am only at page 33!!!! Whaaaaaaa! And it is summer too, which means, I am NOT WORKING (teacher here), so I should be reading!

My problem is ;) I keep coming back to the DISboards and reading YOUR, among other's, trip report, so I never have time to read the book! Whaaaa! You and everyone else, I COMMAND you, stop posting so I can read this darn book! :headache:

J/K :rotfl2:

But seriously.....

I have a couple chapters in the book on on, then Walt is next... probably by Sunday I'll start. :wizard:

Hi Jaime:

Can't wait to hear the end and find out what is coming up next.

We are at 44 days and counting :) Just used a code and got a little discount too :)

Hope you are not sweltering like we are in NC :)

It's a lovely week - in the 60s!!! We have all the windows open at home and refuse to close any of them! It was 61 in my bedroom this morning! It's just heaven to sleep under a comforter in June! :santa:

By the way, whenever I tell this story to Lauren and Brooke, they giggle for an extremely long time! I really hope when we take Brooke in September, that we find a nice big pile! :lmao:

I am giggling too, I admit it bathroom humor gives me the giggles:rotfl:

Though that WOULD NOT be my dream job. Even on Main street!

I'm with Rhonda! I'd clean up the horse poop too if I could work at Disney! Of course, my dream is to drive the monorail :)

I asked a driver in May what it takes to drive a monorail and he said "40 hours of training" and I said "THAT'S IT?" I could do that job:cool1:

CHAPTER 56: Doesn’t Breakfast Sound Good Now? – Still DAY 8: SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2007

We get to the front of the line and do our usual "What do we get on the Dining Plan?" inquiry. I thought I knew the answer, but I always like confirmation. Yes – it’s true, Virginia, you get 1 hot, 1 cold, and 1 beverage!!! :cool1:

We took our trays outside and around the corner to a bunch of outdoor seating by the Plaza Restaurant. There we met the Doggie/Duck.

He sat next to us for the longest time – until he decided Sandy’s toes might look better… at least that’s what Sandy thought Doggie/Duck was thinking! :rotfl2:

Breakfast was wonderful! Rhonda got the French toast loaf, an apple turnover, and a chocolate milk.

34%3A634%3A%3A8%7Ffp6%3B%3Dot%3E2326%3D679%3D%3B9%3C%3DXROQDF%3E23237%3A77%3B9883ot1lsi

Ruth got a ham/egg/cheese croissant, a yogurt and fruit bowl, and an iced tea.

34%3A634%3A%3A8%7Ffp66%3Dot%3E2326%3D679%3D%3B9%3C%3DXROQDF%3E23237%3A77%3B9646ot1lsi

I got the ham/egg/cheese croissant, a banana bread, and an orange juice.

34%3A634%3A%3A8%7Ffp64%3Dot%3E2326%3D679%3D%3B9%3C%3DXROQDF%3E23237%3A77%3B9639ot1lsi

And Sandy got a ham/egg/cheese croissant, a cherry danish, and an orange juice. What a great use of a counter service credit!

The food looks good. Much better than the "poo view" a bit earlier.

On a side note - I remember you and/or a few sisters had the tuna sandwich at Earl of Sandwich during one of your trips. Would you/they recommend it? I've been looking at the menus, and that's one of the places Jill and I want to go at some point.

It was Meg! She just laughed and said she doesn't remember specific tuna sandwiches in her lifetime, but thinks the one from Earl was pretty good.
