Glad you found some pins & shirts for the boys

Hi, Britney! Your boys are gorgeous! They will have so much fun on the Wish trip!
I am sorry Jake has been through so much.![]()
Wanted to mention that May can be very hot, even humid and September until the 3rd week of October is worse than summer. Many guests think it will cool down In Sept, but it has been the hottest times we have ever been - we've been every month except June over the last 30 years.
If it is possible, I would recommend late October - the Magic Kingdom will be decorated for Halloween and it is fabulous! It will still be plenty warm enough to swim. Whatever dates they give you, just remember to take it all in small bites and it will be wonderful! WDW can be a bit overwhelming any time of year, especially the more crowded months of late February through August.
You are doing a great planning! Can hardly wait to hear when you are going!
Showers of blessings in your dear family!
ThanksWhat do you think about April? We just got word that we will probably be going at the end of april. We are kinda used to hot weather...we live in Arizona...but not humidity. Thats the killer right there. Thanks for your advice. I am hoping with all the planning I am doing, I will make sure that we dont overdo ourselves...thats what im worried about.
April is a beautiful time! EPCOT Flower and Garden will be going on - the flower Toparies are incredible! Weather wise - during our trip (last week of April into early May) it was between 85-88 each day, some humidity, but nothing like later May through early October. Would Jake be able to use one of those spritzer type hand held fans to help keep him cool?
I think you will do a wonderful job planning - it is going to be such a special time for your family!!Just have a plan in place in case it is hotter than expected - maybe spend the morning in a park, then when it gets hot around noon or 1 o'clock, go back for a swim and rest - then to back at the end of the day.
We went the end of August for many years - terribly hot and humid. I have MS so the heat gets to me...we would go to the park for rope drop, plan to cover a certain area, have lunch and leave for the heat of the day when it was most crowded. We so enjoyed the pool at our resort, everyone was refreshed and relaxed, then we'd go back for a few more hours. We tried to do the things the kids wanted to see most and not worry about what we might be missing. We have wonderful memories and you will too!![]()
So we found out when we are going....for now...it could change. I will know for sure Monday or Tuesday.
We will be going April 21st-27th.
I am not excited or anything![]()
HURRAY for dates! We'll just cross over with dates - we get in at 7 am on the 27th, so hopefully we'll have time for a quick hello![]()
Wanted to join in and say hi! We live in Vegas, so I totally get your rain fear. We went in early January this year on DDs Wish Trip. I rained every day except 1! But honestly, the rain was not bad. It wasn't like the rain we get in the desert. It just kind of spritzed. We actually only wore ponchos a couple of hours total. A word of advice, get 2 adult sized pochos for Jake's chair. Put the poncho over his head and then over the handles of the chair in the back and his lap in the front. Knot it at the bottom 4 corners after it is on to avoid getting it caught in the wheels. Pack the rain gear for the whole family in a separate plastic bag that you can pull out on the fly. Also, waterproof hats work much better than poncho hoods for non wheelchair users.
The only place we actually had trouble with the rain was Universal. Not enough places to get out of the rain, so people huddled under the canopys at the entrances and exits of rides which made it very difficult to move around with a wheelchair.
You will have a great time no matter what!
