Yes, the lo mein is very yummy. I could go for some Ohana's right about now.

It has spicy tuna, shrimp salad, and tempura crunch in it. Oooh your staying at the Poly, you must do a TR for that trip!

Thanks for the recommendation! Their breakfast menu looks really good. A couple years back I went there for lunch and the food was excellent.

Chris and I had a pretty boring breakfast at Riverside Mill this morning. We wanted to make sure we had enough room for our lunch reservation at Yak and Yeti.

Chris had a blueberry muffin and a bottle of water.

I love that you can tell Chris' arms are up in this picture. I always told him to get his hands out of the way when I was taking food pics.

I had a plain bagel toasted with plain cream cheese and a bottle of water.

Plain Bagel $2.59

Our breakfast was pretty basic but we found it to be fresh and tasty.

I was really impressed with the amount of selection Riverside Mill had for breakfast. I also found the seating area to be very clean. We ended up eating breakfast here almost every morning during our stay.

Total: $8.02

Up Next: Lunch at Yak & Yeti

Chris and I were both really looking forward our lunch at the Yak and Yeti. We had made ADRs here before but had always ended up cancelling them at the last minute. Lately, I had been reading such favoring reviews for Yak and Yeti so I knew we couldn’t cancel our ADR this time.

When we arrived at the Yak and Yeti is was extremely busy. There was a line up out the door just to receive a slip that would allow you to go inside to check in. I was very glad that we had made an ADR here because a lot of people were being turned away. I have feeling people were trying to get in doors for lunch because it was one of the hottest days I can remember ever at AK.

While we were waiting to be seated we ended up chatting with another couple who had just recently gotten engaged. This was the first time Chris and I ever wore one of the celebrating buttons on our trip and we found that it really allowed us to connect with other guests at WDW.

It was only about a ten minute wait before we were seated at a table for four at the back of the restaurants by the staircases.

Chris ordered the crispy honey chicken with fried rice and a sprite.

Crispy Honey Chicken: tempura chicken, broccoli, carrots, honey sauce $17.49

I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and a coke.

Sweet and Sour Chicken: Tempura chicken or pork, ginger, garlic, bell peppers, pineapple $17.49

Chris and I both really enjoyed our entrees. We found the fried rice to be a little dry and would have preferred the option of ordering white sticky rice instead the option of jasmine, brown, or fried rice. But overall, it was a great meal.

For dessert I ordered the fried wontons.

Fried Wontons - Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey vanilla drizzle $7.99

Oh my goodness this was delicious. This was my favorite dessert of the entire trip. It was piping hot and the cream cheese just melted in your mouth. I would make a stop at the Yak and Yeti just for this dessert.

Chris and I will definitely be making a returning trip.

So glad you enjoyed Yak & Yeti; it was athe second favorite meal of our 25th anniversary trip in 2008 and we were sorry we didn't make it back on our mini trip in September of this year. Mark had the duck and I had the sweet and sour pork and we LOVED our meals.

I didn't find the portions too small. They seemed on par with other portion sizes in Disney. Yak and Yeti is a bit on the expensive side but we thought it was worth it for the quality of the food and the atmosphere.

DBF and I are not big AK fans, but I want to try Yak and Yeti so badly! That dessert looks SO yummy! I love pineapple!
