Last heard from Nancy around 8ish, things were quiet there. Storms were above and below them.

Her mom didn't have internet so I'm hoping the same thing is why we haven't heard from Jacksmomma.




Continued prayers to those effected by the storms. We did lose a DIS'er and her husband in Joplin earlier this week. Please keep the family and friends of MinnieLor in your thoughts.

I'm here... storms were more noise makers for us.. Mom had to go back to her closet w/ her dog Charlie about 830ish with another storm... She said lots of damage to the other side of their complex but they didn't get hit... Sis has some damage at her house..holes in siding; window blown out....

Currently my cell phone is not showing a screen so I can't text.. so if you need me call me... I will be at the cell place first thing and I'm not a happy camper this phone isn't even 5 months old...

As for jacksmomma we haven't exchanged cell numbers we will have to do that.. I know she lives in an area less than an hour from me.. she is actually in between me and my parents...

Yes, I saw her on one of the threads so we know she is safe at least!!!
They have definitely confirmed 1 tornado (EF-1) in mom's town... but they believe and assessing there might have been a 2nd one...

1 of them hit the park where we are having PJ's senior photos taken! ERGH!!! The sweet lady who is doing them called mom to make sure I knew and I was okay if we had to change some plans.. Mom said I totally understood and had already called to start brainstorming alternatives... The 2nd place a farm was not touched! Yay!

I am here and we are safe!!! No real damage out here...though I spent most of Wednesday night in the garden tub with Jacka and the dog. DH was watching the TV and the windows. We got lucky, there are many areas around the state that are a mess! DH works southwest of here and in his work parking lot alone there there 13 down trees!

The bad lasting effect, Jacka is starting to develop a fear or storms.

I appreciate all the prayers and pixie dust! Thanks for watching my back Nan!

Glad things are okay for you!!! We need to exchange numbers for emergencies like this!!!! They classified G-burg as 2- EF-1 tornados...
Poor insurance company down there could receive calls the following day but couldn't return calls.... they were going to area pay phones to return calls..
