The BM dresses are lovely!! It seems to be the norm in the US for bridesmaids to pay for their own dresses right? Here in the UK, the bride (or whoever pays for the wedding) stumps up for the BM's dresses.

So this is weird, especially because I have super-expensive taste, but I haven't had that hard of a time coming in under budget! I think it's because we're not having alcohol (due to some personal reasons, not frugality) and because it looks like we only have to feed, like, 22 people! And yes, here in the USA the bridesmaids pay for their own dresses, but I am paying for their hairdos and I bought them all fabulous gifts too.
I want the model A! I want the model A!!
I say go for it. It's so much fun, would make for great pictures, and it's a heck of a lot better deal than the carriage!

So I don't really have that much of an update, unfortunately. I cut a few things out of the floral BEO and reduced it by $50, and we DID decide to add the Model A car!!! With the car, before taxes, we're at roughly $10,450, but that should go down quite a bit once our guest count is reduced from 30 to 22. So I might get to add Mickey Ice Cream bars to the reception too! (You know how at little kid's birthdays you always have cake and ice cream? My family still does that for everyone's birthdays, so I'd love to have it at my wedding too.)
Oh, we lost one of Chris's groomsmen.
It's a long story, but at least my bridesmaids and groomsmen are equal--- for now. We may be losing another one. Remind me to rant about that once I know more details!!
Um what else. My birthday is this week! Don't worry, I'll be updating on Thursday, soliciting birthday wishes.
And my first wedding dress fitting is Saturday! I'm nervous. I don't know why, but I am. And I think we may be choosing wedding bands this weekend.
