Jackie and Chris's Wishes Wedding 1/6/12: SBP/Attic/SCP 5/11 Final Post- PJ Finished

"I didn't wannnna go to school. I don't wanna go this morning either, ha! Which photo did you steal?! (Just curious.) "

Its the single flower with ribbon attached to the chairs. Its just so simple but beautiful.

Great picture of Lacey taking a picture and I love the first shot of Major Domo with your driver in the background lol

I think I stole it from another disbride's inspiration too. (Or it was an idea sent to someone by a planner or something. I don't remember.) I'm glad to pass it on! :D

Aww Jackie, so so sweet!!! I love the personalized vows!! Typical man to leave the writing of his until the very last moment!!!
Major Domo is amazing. A real 'wow' factor element for your guests.
Every time I look at new photos of your wedding, I think again how happy and radiant you looked. Just lovely sweetie

Oh yes, Chris and I both knew he would leave his writing until the last minute. (At least it's not like when we were in college and took a few classes together: I would do the work, he would paraphrase mine! BAH!) And thank you for your sweet comments. <3

Reading your TR, I suddenly feel like an idiot for NOT getting the Major Domo! What a spectacular moment for your ceremony. I was imagining "When You Wish Upon a Star" in my head, and I truly got chills. Magical.

Thank you!!! Okay, so when I was a teenager, I totally used to play around with the disney wedding planner when it actually had costs and stuff. (It did exist!) I would ALWAYS have Major Domo, but I would say things to myself like "Eh, I don't need a bouquet." :lmao:

I finally got caught up on your trip report! :yay:

I love Belle's advice about Gaston!

I'm glad you liked the Beach Club--it's my favorite Disney resort! :goodvibes

I'm so sorry your mom had the nerve to just send you a text, and then act the way she did at your dad's wake. :sad2::hug:

Your wedding vows were so sweet. :lovestruc

1900 Park Fare looks like so much fun! We are having our rehearsal dinner there, but I've never eaten there, so I was wondering what it was like. The pictures look great! I hope the Prince Charming we see doesn't look like Pee-wee Herman, though. :rotfl:

You will love Jiko when you eat there in May! The food is amazing! :lovestruc Make sure you try the mac and cheese. :goodvibes

Yay! I'm glad you're caught up, and that you're back. As for 1900 Park Fare: I don't know if it was just me being hungry or something, but I swear it is the BEST Disney buffet I have ever been to. I usually think they're pretty bland, but this one had the soup, and the potatoes, and coq a vin, and sushi. I could go on! Mmm.

Beautiful ceremony!!! I have so enjoyed looking through your pictures on facebook and they are even better with all of your wonderful descriptions of what is going on. You and Chris are so sweet and I love that Chris stayed with your Dad the night before the wedding. You better have told them you were behind their wedding day breakfast! You deserve credit where credit is due :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for all of your kind words! And of COURSE I got the credit. I sent them over a $20 muffin for cripe's sake! Ha!

* Awww, your ceremony looks so sweet!
* I love your vows, they are awesome.
* I love how you made the Major Domo such a surprise! :lmao: I could just imagine everyone's reactions. Chris definitely did pick a smart best man - I told ours that he had to take the rings the day before, and he was like, "I have to do that? What if I lose them?"
* These pictures are so great. You really look like you are just glowing.
* I hope you had a good Valentine's Day! Let me know how the soup came out. Jason and I decided to postpone our Valentine's Day with everything going on, but when we do have it we're going to do an at home fondue!

Thank you so much, Becky! I have been thinking about you and your poor little kitty so often. As for the soup: it took me roughly an hour and a half to make, but it tasted JUST like the stuff they serve at Le Cellier. Seriously, I am so impressed with myself! (Not to toot my own horn.)

I was thinking the EXACT same thing! My mom wanted it, but I said no! After seeing these pics, I regret it!

Jackie--these pics are amazing! And I love the personal vows...so sweet and funny--a perfect combo!

Thank you so much! And you and Michelle had such beautiful weddings, by the way. :lovestruc

Wedding Day, Part 7

After we were officially married, everyone walked out of SBP.

JC01671-6-12.jpg

(Had to include another shot of Domo!)

JC01731-6-12.jpg

A-ha! I just figured something out. I had remembered seeing Major Domo carrying my card basket, and I couldn't figure out for the LIFE of me what he was doing with it. (Of course, it never dawned on me to, oh, ask someone else who was at the wedding.) I am fairly certain though that he was handing out bubble wands!

JC01801-6-12.jpg

Seems reasonable, no?

So everyone lined up with the bubble wands, and Chris and I had to go back into SBP for our staged exit. I am pretty sure that these pictures were taken then. Christy really, truly was an amazing wedding planner; I love how she is helping me with my train here. If any of you girls have her, you are in great hands.

JC22411-6-12.jpg

The staged exit felt kind of silly to me, to be honest. Chris and I were making jokes about it: "Hey! Weren't we just here?!" However, the goofiness was rewarded because we got this picture, which is one of my favorites from our wedding. I feel like it captures the mood of our day perfectly.

JC01931-6-12.jpg

JC01981-6-12.jpg

Then we headed back to the car, so we could get some more staged exit shots.

JC02051-6-12.jpg

Randy took a lot of pictures of peoples' reflections in the car. It sort of worked.

JC02081-6-12.jpg

We got in the car, and I did not fall, and Chris only had to sit on my dress a little bit. Here, he's doing a semi-queen-of-england wave:

JC02141-6-12.jpg

Newlyweds!

JC22481-6-12.jpg

JC22641-6-12.jpg

We just circled around in the car a little bit. BFF Ricky honked the horn a few times; and people cheered for us and kept taking pictures. It was exciting, and strange. Chris and I are not exactly "center of attention" people, but it was nice to have just one day of that feeling.

JC22661-6-12.jpg

(Oh, a side note about the car. I forgot to mention that, the morning of the wedding, I saw SO many men just stop and ask if they could take the picture with the car. Ha!)

We got out of the car again, and it was time for probably the most annoying part of the day: it was Awkward Family Portraits Time!

Wedding Day, Part 8

I am going to try and breeze through the AFP's, mostly because I know they're not as interesting to read about, nor are they as interesting to write about.

Chris and I with our favorite member of our family:

JC02211-6-12.jpg

After the Major Domo shot though, Randy asked for everyone to get into a picture together. This took some finagling, as I am sure all of you other married ladies know. As Randy was about to take the picture, my dad shouted "YEAH!!!!!!" and threw his hands up. I love this picture, and it's just another thing I loved about having a small wedding: I am ABLE to have a picture with all of my wedding guests.

JC02361-6-12.jpg

Here are my grandparents, AKA Gaga and Grammy. They're the ones who brought me to Disney when I was little, and we're very close.

JC02501-6-12.jpg

I do have a nice picture, but I wanted to post this one first because Chris is ALSO doing the serial killer face. Sigh.

JC02611-6-12.jpg

Look! All three of us are smiling! It must be a miracle.

JC02641-6-12.jpg

Next up were Becky and her mom (who HATES having her picture taken, I am glad she humored me though).

JC02701-6-12.jpg

Chris's mom, who looks like she is wearing a blanket:

JC02801-6-12.jpg

And now, Chris's mom and Lacy. I loved Lacy's dress.

JC02941-6-12.jpg

Chris's Uncle Frank (of the broken arm) and Aunt Barbara. I've only met them a few times, but they're so nice.

JC02981-6-12.jpg

My Aunt Margie, Uncle Paul, and cousin Brittany. Why yes, Margie DOES wear that amount of makeup every single day. Every. Single. Day. And Brittany is following suit: they both brought SUITCASES full of makeup with them. Suitcases!

JC03171-6-12.jpg

The groomsmen! Luis looks quite handsome here.

JC03301-6-12.jpg

Randy had a free moment, so he had to take a picture of Becky.

JC03311-6-12.jpg

Richelle and her boyfriend, Tim. You can't tell from this picture, but Tim is a really nice guy, I promise!

JC03371-6-12.jpg

Okay, so this one is a bit more interesting: lovely bridal party shot.

JC03481-6-12.jpg

I think it was actually sometime around this that Randy announced that we were just going to do bridal party shots now so everyone else could go up to The Attic. Major Domo led them over, except Chris's family just hung around in SBP. Why? Because I am pretty sure their life mission is to irritate me. I wasn't really irritated on the wedding day, but looking back it was just annoying. Why can't people follow directions? Hmm?

JC03601-6-12.jpg

JC03701-6-12.jpg

JC22791-6-12.jpg

I guess because they stuck around, Randy took some more shots of Chris with his mom and sister. I hung back with Becky and Richelle during these.

JC23111-6-12.jpg

JC23311-6-12.jpg

Isn't his mom SO skinny? Blergh. (I know, I'm mean and I shouldn't complain about my MIL: but the woman barely spoke 10 words to me at our wedding. I can whine about her all I want!)

JC23461-6-12.jpg

And, finally, this is my favorite Bridal Party shot. Luis's leg is up on the car and he kind of looks like a badass.

JC23771-6-12.jpg

Then, Randy told everyone who was left that he was going to take pictures with just us, and FINALLY Chris's family headed up to The Attic. The bridal party did too, of course, but I am pretty sure they wanted to as there was cheese awaiting them.

It was just Chris and I now...

JC23841-6-12.jpg

Next up: Bridal Shots on the Boardwalk!

So pretty, Jackie! I really do like the pictures from the staged exit too! They came out great! Ugh, I hear you on the family hanging around- I hate the lurkers!! Like, everyone else is going like they were told... move along people! You handled his mom and sister staying nicely though by letting them take more pictures with Chris. I had talked to Maxine about lurkers at our PS and I'll need to refresh with Vita- we want people scooted away so they arent standing their akwardly watching us. lol :rotfl:
That is great Major Domo led the way for your guests!
I also love how your red flowers pop, the colors are so pretty together!:goodvibes

Awww! Yay, married! :goodvibes I have to tell you - I showed Doug some of the pics last night, and he agrees that they came out wonderful. And he, too, chuckled at, um, Ricky's name.

Your dad in the group shot? SO AWESOME.

Chris' family hanging about? Yep. That's gonna be Doug's mom. I already know it. I hadn't even thought about it, but now I already know it. Where's the head banging against a wall smiley?! Speaking of Chris, I feel like he got all the looks between him and his sister. (That's not being too mean, is it?)

:goodvibes

I made it a personal goal today to catch up on your TR! Your wedding was fantastic and your pictures are amazing!! I can't wait to read more!! Just wanted to let you know I was still here!! Hope all well!!

Your pictures are gorgeous!!!! :bride:

I love the idea of a shot of all the wedding guests...I am determined to do that....although we (unfortunately) are having about 80 or 90 people so it might be difficult!! I WILL make it happen!!!

Yeahhh I didn't even CONSIDER lurkers! You gotta be firm with them! And thank you for the color compliment: it was something I honestly didn't realize until I looked at the pictures.

Awww tell Doug I say hello! :D My dad was certainly a character... (it still feels weird to say was.) And HA!!!! Lacy usually looks quite pretty, it must have been a bad picture: but still. HA! That made my day.

I made it a personal goal today to catch up on your TR! Your wedding was fantastic and your pictures are amazing!! I can't wait to read more!! Just wanted to let you know I was still here!! Hope all well!!

I've missed you, Deena! I really wish they still had the "Best Planning Journal" category on the DWB because I was going to nominate you. Just sayin!

Your pictures are gorgeous!!!! :bride:

I love the idea of a shot of all the wedding guests...I am determined to do that....although we (unfortunately) are having about 80 or 90 people so it might be difficult!! I WILL make it happen!!!

Thank you! And GAH! It can happen though. Are you going a pre-trip report for your honeymoon??

Yay for all the pics!
* First of all, I'm glad your soup came out so awesome! We've actually never been to Le Cellier but I keep hearing about this amazing soup so someday we will have to try it!
* Your staged exit pictures look great! I know it feels a little silly - ours did too, because we did our exit, then had to go back into the church to sign the marriage license (luckily we decided to go in the back door instead of going back up the same steps, ha!). But then we had to come out again and about half of our guests were still hanging out there, so it was like... awkward second grand exit! :lmao:
* Definitely cool that you got a shot with all your guests in it!
* Ugh, sorry Chris's family was hanging around when they should've left. I know that's super annoying. But it seems like you and Lacy are at least on okay terms, so that's good, right? I'm just glad she didn't cause any trouble for you at the wedding.

Gosh, your pictures turned out BEAUTIFULLY! Everyone looks so happy! Again, you looked stunning! Ahh!! So happy for you Mrs. Dunn!

Love your newest updates!!

The group pic with your Dad cheering in the background is great, it put a smile on my face. :goodvibes <-- how I look when reading your TR.

I can't believe the 'lurkers'... how hard is it to follow instructions? I'm glad it didn't annoy you at the time.

Really looking forward to reading more xxx

You need to go to Le Cellier! Or at least make the soup. :lmao: And your staged exit sounds as awk as mine! I was fine with Lacy at the wedding: I didn't speak to her much, but it was fine. Awkward, but fine.

Love all your pics especially the group shot with your Dad cheering in the background.

Thank you! <3

Aww--- I love the face! Thank you!!

Okay, so random question...I saw on another PJ that you used PeaceLoveRhinestones. Do you happen to have an email for her? I used her for my wedding day tanks and loved her (sorry you had a bad experience with her!) and I want a tank made for my anniversary (a carriage with Happily Ever After below it). But she's not on Etsy anymore. I tried to find another person who would make me a shirt but I can only find transfers. So I'm hoping maybe you emailed her at some point instead of just conversing through Etsy, like I did!

(okay, just read that back and it's kinda rambling. I hope it made sense!)

Love love love everything! I get excited when I see you've posted more pictures, can't wait to see more! :goodvibes

OMfreakinG!! I said I wasn't going to get so behind on commenting, and I did it again! I had to go back so many damn pages, I lost count. I HAVE been reading every time you update though. I just haven't taken the time to comment. I usually read the updates while I'm at break or lunch. Anyway..enough about me!

All the way back to the 1st part of the wedding day!
-I like the pic of you noticing Randy taking your pic! I was the same way!!
-Saying the F word isn't very nice, but I think that's what I like about you! ;)
-I'm sooo sorry that they took down the XMas decor before you were able to take your pics! That blows!! That was very sweet of Chris to try and keep it from you.... the first lie by omission!!! hahahaha
-I LOVE the pics of you and your girls!! I just love their dresses!
-The car was definitely worth it for the pics!
-I'm so glad Randy got the pics of your Dad!! It looks like he was so proud to be there to give you away!! I'm glad you have these!
-Of course I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pic of you and girls with the car in the background.
-I told you.. you are body less in that pic.. just deal!!

Part 4
-Is it bad of me to say that I wish I would've said no to the beach?! But I wasn't asked... we just went there, and I didn't say anything..BUT I do love the pics... sooo lol win-win I guess.
-I'm jealous that you had so many people to help you hold your dress up... hahahaha
-The dock pics are cool. Love Becky's tats. I have to say.. looking at the heel, I would've been walking around barefoot too!!! I can't even stand up straight it tennis shoes!
-How in the hell do you forget the veil?? I guess the same way you forget the fans, and prizes, and everything else we forgot in our room! lol Glad Becky was so cool about going to get it though.
-I'm glad you didn't fall in the water. Imagine how damn heavy that dress would've been.. You definitely would've had a Janet Jackson, Super Bowl moment!!! hahaha
-Great pic of you and Richelle!
-I like that your Dad tried to keep his shades on during the pics.
-But at least he didn't look like he wanted to kill anyone! LOL
-I can picture Becky trying to get into some old lady's room asking where the damn veil is!!
-Yeah veil!
-Your dad carrying your train! Great!
-I'm so happy you didn't fall on your face getting in the car. That would've sucked majorly.
-I'm SO beyond freakin happy that your driver's name was Dick Hardman. I've told everyone who would listen to me, and I think I laughed more each time I said it. I can just imagine you in the damn back of the car trying to keep it together!!!
-You seriously look like you might vomit on your Dad.
-I've already said before.. I think the pics with you holding your bouquet out the window is 1 of my favs!!
-Side note... that ostrich just made ME vomit!!! hahahaha Sorry Danielle!!

Part 5
-I'm so glad that Dick tried to soften the blow of your upcoming nuptials...
-Do NOT ever speak ill of Animal Kingdom or the babies!! ;) But I would've loved it. I would've been all over Dick and his conversation. LMAO!!
-I think I would've thought you were the coolest chick riding by in that old *** car! I wish I could've seen it FOR reals!!
-I wonder what kind of stories the people tell their friends and family when they start showing the pics off... Do they tell them they were actually at the wedding?? What? I don't know.
-Chris looks WAY nervous.
-I love your simple decor. I so wish we had done this instead of the chair covers. The chairs were not horrendous like everyone said they were.
-Again... I'm glad you didn't fall on your face getting out of the car.
-Chris looks so sweet and sooooo young. lol Charley said he looks so young.. it's like you're a cougar!!! hahaha But he said not that you look old either.. I think he was trying to take his foot out of his mouth at this point..
-I think your Dad was saying... Damn Jackie, I aint stepping on that ginormous dress!! Get it the hell outta my way!! hahaha That's what I wanted to say to my dress myself. LOL
-I love that he keeps wiping away tears.
-I also love that Dick stayed close-by, so he could be ready whenever you were..
-Chris looks like he's kind of nervous, kind of scared, kind of excited as hell!! Good combo!
-I love Daydream Believer!!!
-I would've rather had the shorter aisle than that long *** aisle I had to walk down. Ridiculous!! I didn't like people watching me for that long.

Part 6
-I LOVE the pic of your dad kissing you and giving you away. It is the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I think you should crop that and frame it!
-I like the pic of Lacy too.. but she looks like she's about ready to give the finger at a moments notice.
-I think it's funny how your dad is walking around behind everything taking pics.
-I can't believe yall did your own vows. I would've died!
-You're dress is SOOO sparkly and pretty!
-You should've told your grandma to turn up her hearing aid... sorry..
-I like how Dick's just squirming around in the background of your Major Domo pics.
-That's a downright snazzy outfit that guy has on! haha Very cool. I bet everyone was really surprised!
-I'm so glad your finally wedded!!! Yay!!!!
-And once again.. your dad snapping and FBing away!! Too funny!

Part 7
-The BW looked pretty busy during your ceremony.
-So what if the staged exits are silly. The pics are great!
-It's pretty cool to have everyone acknowledge you.

Part 8
-I like the pic of yall with the Major Domo.
-I'm glad you were able to get a group pic. We did too. I definitely like that you're dad is cheering for you!!!
-Good pic with your Dad too.
-WOW, your aunt and cousin sure do wear a lot of make-up. I had noticed this in an earlier pic, or a pic on FB... I can't remember... but I wasn't going to say anything, because I'm nice like that.
-I think Becky was FBing about her wonderful experience in those high *** heels.
-I probably would've let more than some f-bombs drop with his family. I don't have the cleanest language in the world... and The World would've definitely heard it about then. lol
-I like the pic of yall at the car.

Ok, so I'm finally caught up again. I can only imagine how large this comments going to be....

First, just let me say AAARRRRGGGHHH the DIS is sooooo slow again :confused3

Okay, that's better. :lmao:

You had one well-dressed bridal party going on there girl :thumbsup2 us Brits are very into getting all dressed up for a wedding - hats n all, and I have to say that there has been the odd trip report that I have flicked through and thought - hmmm you wore that to a wedding :rotfl2:

Looking forward to more popcorn::

Unfortunately, I DON'T have an email for her: I know she had a lot of family problems and got evicted or something and had to move. Don't get me wrong, her rhinestones were beautifulllllllllllll! The service was just not so great.

Love love love everything! I get excited when I see you've posted more pictures, can't wait to see more! :goodvibes

Whew… had to open up another Word Doc for this one!
-I like that you like that I swear haha
-Thank you for the compliments on the girls’ dresses: I really wish I could take credit for them. Maybe I will. HA!
-I almost wish I had said yes to the beach! (Sounds like a TLC show.) But I loved my shoes more. Yup.
-I think I forgot the veil due to Wedding Induced La-La-Land.
-LOL! Don’t say that about the water: I think I might do a TTD!
-OMG I can picture Becky barging into a room too! Ha! (I’ll bet she’s laughing as she reads this…)
-I can also picture you giggling every time you say “Dick Hardman.” I am so proud to have reduced all of us Mature Disbrides to various fits of giggles.
-You would have gone to see the babies instead of marrying! “Charley can wait. I gotta go see the gorilla!”
-HA! To Charley. Yeah, Chris and I get carded all the time. The mall by us has a curfew (18 and older) and we got carded and they tried to make us wear a wristband. Awww yeah.
-Dick is ALWAYS prepared.
-Hold on a sec: your dress was so sparkly TOO!
-Oh, my aunt and little cousin were the brunt of MANY jokes from Becky, Chris, and I. Because we are nice people.
-YAY YOU’RE CAUGHT UP!

Looking forward to more popcorn::

Ugh the Dis has been AWFUL lately! Thank you for the bridal party compliment. :) I love Brit wedding fashion!!!! I mooned over all of the hats at the Royal Wedding. I wish we had a fun tradition like that: we Americans are slobs.

Probably no pre-trip report...I'm not very good at committing to those! I'm better at getting through trip reports, I think those are more fun!!

Awwww! Well, let me know your plans!! (Hotel? Dining? I am so nosy haha.)
