Jack and Sally. UPDATED. FINISHED :( !! LOTS of pics. 6.26-7.3

I love your trip report! I showed my husband the picture of John on Small World. My husband hates that ride because he thinks the dolls are creepy. In fact, I think he thinks its the scariest ride at WDW!:cutie:

Were you able to slide your ticket through the fastpass machine without taking your ticket out of the holder? I may have to get one of those the next time I go.

Happy late birthday!

Great pictures! Thank you so much for all of your posting!
I will take you back to CBR in August with my trip report!

Ditto what everyone has said....too cute!
You remind me of Avril Lavigne...same facial features and cute little nose.

Anyway, Your trippie is great so far, can't wait to read the rest!

Loving the trip report so far! :thumbsup2 You guys are too cute together & remind me of me & my hubby now going on our first trip before we were married. It was an awesome time...probably why we keep returning every year! :rotfl2:

Can't wait to hear more! :goodvibes

When I looked at my notes it said, “Today was just magical.” And it really was. Today was the day that John had officially taken on the role of park commando. Ripped It right from under my feet. I couldn’t be more proud! He awoke me very early, and I say we headed out of CBR by 7.45ish because we were at MGM by 8. It never took longer than 15 minutes to get to MGM. On our way in, we stopped at the cart and John decided that he wanted to get an autograph book. I was so happy to see him really just become a kid! Before we went, we didn’t really know if we wanted to “waste time” meeting characters, but we really enjoyed this part of our trip. Very unexpected. We made our purchases and found ourselves second in line through the turnstiles. While we were waiting (a whole 45 minutes!) I snapped some shots

S6300526.jpg

And finally they let us through the turnstiles to the rope!
S6300527.jpg

I’ve never been to a rope drop before so I never knew there were pre-shows! We LOVED this one and we love Streetmosphere.
S6300535.jpg

I just love taking pics of these guys! They’re so animated!
S6300536.jpg

S6300537.jpg

And with Lights, Camera, Action..we were off!
We FP RNRC and jumped in lin. John was scared outta his mind, I could understand why! But as we were boarding, the CM said, “Happy Birthday!” I had heard that so many times that my robotic and perky voice said “Thank You!” He asked us if we would like to ride again after this. We said of course! So we hopped on and rode. John thought it was amazing, as did I. When we got off, we told the CM that the other CM said we could ride again and they let us through a back door and we hopped back on! This was the second time of our trip that we said Who needs the Dream Squad! We rode the second time and had a blast again! Afterwards, we headed to VOTLM. There was no wait, so we got right in.
S6300542.jpg

The show was good, but I thought Ariel was not a very good singer. Afterwards, we headed to Muppets. Right as we were walking past the Sorcerer’s Hat, all the characters were coming out. Good timing because there were hardly any lines. We met the star himself, Mickey first.
S6300547.jpg

mickeymgm.png

We headed on over to Muppets when we saw Star Tours had no wait. We went ahead and rode.
S6300550.jpg

S6300551.jpg

After this ride, we knew that we were done with Motion Simulators. I had to close my eyes halfway through, which I think prevented me from throwing up. John was really sick afterwards too. This is where I sprung the “I told ya we weren’t gonna be able to ride Mission Space.” John definently agreed! But we got a bottle of water and headed on.

We headed to the Streets of America. I saw this sign and cracked up! My mom’s from the North and we used to make fun of her all the time for saying “Youse guys.”
S6300552.jpg

And look who we saw!
S6300554.jpg

S6300558.jpg

S6300560.jpg

Then we snapped some.
S6300562.jpg

Wait, wheres the subway? What, we’re not in NY?
S6300565.jpg

S6300568.jpg

And at last, we finally made it.
S6300569.jpg

These guys convinced me to step inside.
S6300570.jpg

S6300571.jpg

We liked Muppets and it was really funny, but it was kind of hard to top TTBABug.
After that we spotted Buzz and Woody with hardly any waits!

After that, we headed to Indiana Jones.
S6300581.jpg

S6300583.jpg

We didn’t think you had to be there early. Oops. We were WRONG. We were in the last row, standing. I still managed to get some okay shots though.

S6300613.jpg

S6300615.jpg

After that, we kind of wandered and I looked for a lanyard. I finally found one with a FP holder and I bought it. WE decided to do the GMR to pass the time until our 1PM ADR @ 50’s. On our way, we stumbled across some more characters! We almost had a heart attack when we saw Smee! We love SMEE!
S6300619.jpg

He was mad that he wasn’t on our autograph book. I told him he should be! And he pointed at my birthday button and gave me a hug and grabbed me to be in the picture with John!
S6300620.jpg

We stopped in the store inside the hat and I bought some cutie-pa-tootie Minnie Ears. Finally, we hopped in the line for GMR. The wait said 30 minutes, but the line just wasn’t moving and we had 15 minutes until our ADR. We hopped outta line and headed to 50’s.
S6300628.jpg

We checked in and once again, they said we could have a seat in “the lounge”. We found a nice comfy seat on the floor, because this is what the “lounge” looked like.
S6300631.jpg

We were sooo hungry and barely hanging on. Our buzzer went off and we passed all the cutsy tables and were placed in the back, smashed right next to someone elses table. I had to try not to bump elbows with the girl sitting next to me. It wasn’t fun. Our waitress had a thick accent and wasn’t very in character. But by this point, I was just too goshdarn hungry to care.
S6300633.jpg

S6300634.jpg

We ordered everything at once. I got the onion rings and John got the fried cheese. I guess he thought it was going to be like a mozzarella stick but it wasn’t, so I ended up handing over my delish onion rings and eating his fried cheese which I thought was really good. I got the stacked sandwich and John got the pot roast. Once again, he hated his and I loved mine. I pulled the motherly card out and said, “I told you you should have got something you cant mess up, like chicken or a burger.” He agreed. We just wanted to get out of our cramped corner, so we ordered a malt to go for our dessert and they were HUGE! I’m sure if you get a good table 50’s can be fun. What I ordered was really good, but I don’t think we will come back here again. We went to use our FP for RnRC but the FP line was all the way back to the distributions! We didn’t get it, but we didn’t want to stand in line. So we figured we’d call it a day and head back.

S6300644.jpg

Like our cars?

I started browsing through the shops. While in a shop, John handed me a “Best Girlfriend” Mickey Oscar! Close Enough.
S6300645.jpg

We realized that we only had an hour until the 3PM parade. John really wanted to stay and I’m sure he would have stayed all day, so we decided to wait and watch the parade. After I got done browsing, we found a nice little corner to sit and watch…Streetmosphere!

This time we were part of the production! We were the extras for the young people on the curb scene! The director had John tell me happy birthday. John did and I put my hand over my heart. The director said , “Isnt that lovely? Now give er’ a kiss on the cheek,” which he did. He directed me to do the same and when I leaned in to give John a kiss on the cheek John turned and kissed me on the lips! The director said, “That’s Hollywood!” and called it a wrap! It was a lot of fun! I snapped one of my favorite pics of John while waiting for the parade:
S6300662.jpg

Soon enough, the parade started.

She’s pointing at my Minnie Ears!
It was very cute and every person that passed said Happy Birthday. Luke Skywalker winked at me and said Happy Birthday and John got just a tad bit jealous!
We headed back to CBR and I snapped some pics.
S6300717.jpg

S6300719.jpg

You can see POP Century from the Jamaica parking lot! I thought this was really neat.

That was the view/patio outside our room.

And with that, we napped and got ready for Le Cellier!
S6300763.jpg

S6300769.jpg

Before we knew it, we were at Epcot!
S6300773.jpg

We had some time to burn before Le Cellier, so walked around a bit. Even though this was Epcot’s EMH night, we really couldn’t do anything. Soarin was not giving any FP’s, and had a 90 minute wait, Test Track was 90 minutes, Spaceship Earth was down and we had both given a big NO to Mission Space! We were mosy-ing around and kind of decided we didn’t like Epcot. I know this is going to sound cliché, but we felt like it was somewhere you would go if you were on a field trip. It just wasn’t quite Disney enough. We wanted our sugar coated Magic Kingdom back! I think once we get older we will enjoy Epcot much more.
By this time, we were both very hungry but still had at least an hour until our ADR. I saw Club Cool and I grabbed John’s hand and bolted it!
S6300774.jpg

I did the “fake sip” of Beverly and told John to try it. I was expecting a much bigger reaction, but as we walked outta there he was still saying Gross!
S6300777.jpg

We went over to Test Track anyway, and it was about 30 minutes. We really regret not standing in this line (stay tuned to find out why) but we were just too hungry and cranky to wait.
S6300782.jpg

Epcot’s a fun place to take pictures!
S6300786.jpg

I found the cool “upside down fountain”!
S6300787.jpg

S6300792.jpg

We made it over to Canada. We took a bunch of pictures, even ventured over to the UK, checked in at Le Cellier and…you guessed it! Took a lot more pictures.

S6300826.jpg

Back in Canada
S6300831.jpg

S6300835.jpg

S6300836.jpg

Our buzzer FINALLY went off and we headed inside!
S6300838.jpg

S6300848.jpg

We both ordered Shirley Temples to drink (They are so YUMMY!) and the Cheddar Cheese Soup. The pretzel bread was to DIE for, as was the Soup! OMG, I’m still craving that combo! John ordered the 14 oz. NY Strip and I ordered the Filet Mignon. SOOO yummy! I actually took a picture of John’s food, just because I thought the steak was huge!
S6300845.jpg

I ordered the Chocolate Moose for dessert and John ordered the sorbet dessert. When they brought out our desserts, they brought this too!
S6300846.jpg

There was no way I could eat all of this! I didn’t even finish my meal! We boxed up this and headed out.
S6300847.jpg

So, we finally rolled ourselves out of Le Cellier and hoped to ride SOMETHING since it was EMH and everything. Soarin was still 90 minutes, and Test Track was down. Nemo only had a 5 minute wait, so we headed there!
We found the lights, John was pretty amused with them, I was too!
S6300861.jpg

S6300863.jpg

S6300867.jpg

S6300873.jpg

We boarded our Clam-mobiles with no wait at all and enjoyed the ride very much!
S6300878.jpg

S6300884.jpg

We decided we would explore the Seas a lot more later, and as with everything in Epcot, we regretted that we didn’t explore because we never came back here.
nemo.png

Finally, we decided that we might as well wait in the 90 minute line for Soarin. And it really was 90 minutes long!
S6300899.jpg

The horrendous wait really was worth it though, because Soarin truly is AMAZING. After waiting all that time, we held out for the front row and it was AWESOME. No feet, just California.
After that, we spotted some PhotoPass photogs, got some pictures and called it a day.

I am really enjoying your TR!! You guys are just too adorable! :goodvibes I love all the pictures too. We didnt make it on Test Track either, there just never seems to be enough time in the day for Epcot. :sad2: Keep up the great work!

Ok, I admit it, I say Youse guys! But you have to say it "HEY Youse Guys"
Like from the goonies! When I worked at a High school, the students use to make so much fun of me saying Youse guys!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THE PICS!

Excellent pics!

You guys are troopers, waiting in a 90 minute line! I've never been on Soarin because the wait has always been too long.

Your TR is great, I'm excited to read more!

Wow! You guys really did do a lot in a day. I like those fast pass lanyards, I'll have to invest in one.

Sorry to hear about the 50's. I have always read such fun things happen there...I guess it just depends on your waitress.

This is the 2nd report I've read today about LeCellier and I'm really regretting not getting an ADR there. Oh well...I guess we'll have to go back. :)

I can't wait to pull the same thing on DH at Club Cool with the Beverly.

Thanks for all the pictures, it really did feel like I was there with you both.

I think that is so true. I went when I was 17 w/friends and we all thought Epcot was boring. :rolleyes1 But 2 years ago when I went w/DBf @ 22 I thought it was more fun. :) But DBf (21 at the time) thought it was boring with the exception of TT & Soarin'. I am hoping this time we will like it even more! Now that we are older n wiser n all. :rotfl:

I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve all your pics! You got such great pics of the Stars & Motor Cars parade. I have to admit though...I never paid any attention to Streetmosphere and you guys are lovin' it! I will have to pay more attention to them this time around. :) :) :)

Can't wait to see more pics~!!

Great trip report. You and your boyfriend are such a cute couple. I absolutely love your pictures. :)
