No Disney update, Sorry, but I just have to post on my new graduation present - a snazzy new laptop! I'm in love with it! Graduation was wonderful!

DBF looks a little rough, he didnt get to sleep til 3AM. He plays Varsity baseball and our baseball team won the State Tournament the night before graduation! BIG BIG deal, in our small town.

( I just HAD to post a picture of my cake. I'm a big cake "fan", sheet cakes dont do much for me. It was a surprise and I LOVED it.)
Bittersweet feelings although, because of the snow storms that happened here, we have to go back to school for 3 more days after grad...and Tuesday was the day we were originally supposed to leave for our Disney adventure! I think we both decided that moving our trip was a good thing though, we are both waaay to exhausted to think about planning lists and packing! Anyways, We are now 37 days and counting!

30 DAYS!!



Oh, goodness. It's summertime already and I have nothing else to do but....DIS!! I keep reading and reading trip reports and have decided that the DIS should be changed to SpreadSheeters Annonymous. Seriously. I think I am developing a disease! The lists never ever cease...

Today I am bringing down the suitcase!

I'm starting to think that when we wake up for our Disney Vaca, I really will dance like the banana....

I still build with a little envy, if it werent for the snow storms I would be in Disney RIGHT NOW! Minus bigger crowds, too ....But I'm going. Thats all that matters.

With it being 30 days and all, I am wondering when I'm going to get my handy dandy Disney packet. My travel agent is a really nice lady and all, but she's starting to drive me crazy! She doesnt answer her phones and when we drive OUT OF OUR WAY to midtown, she is always with someone else. We really dont understand why she is so "in-demand" because like most Dissers say, I know more about Disney than my AAA "Disney Certified" agent. That part doesnt really bother me, I mean I was only using her for the discount.. but STILL. I want my packet of goodies!

We have nothing else to plan, everything is booked and paid for...so what are we to do?
PLAN OUR NEXT TRIP! We are already planning for a Disney Halloween Vacation. Its my absolute favorite holiday, and with those Jack Skellington Party rumors floating..I cant help but get excited. DBF hasnt even had his first trip yet and is already being suckered into another!

Firstly a big congratulations for your graduation, your cake looks fab Hope you had a great party!
It must be so hard waiting for those days to tick by now, it seems to be that you get to 99 days and it goes real fast till 35 roughly and then time stops How many lists do you think you've got on the go now? BTW, don't get bummed about the resort too much, its who you're with is the most important things, the parks and rides will still be the same, the food will be the same, so relax, its disney after all, how bad could it be?
Sorry about that travel agent, I hope you decide to book stuff for yourself in October if you go, most DISers can do a better job, and you are no exception.

Congrats on your graduation!! Since my semester ended this month I have been doing pretty much nothing but DIS, so I can relate!

Your TR is great. You and DBF make such an adorable couple!! You guys are gonna have so much fun!

And that backpack you bought is very cute and reasonably priced...gotta love a bargain! As for Crocs, I have not caved in to the DIS peer pressure just yet, I find them too ugly to wear in public. I think I will stick to my Sketchers, they look better! Oh and very cute countdown clock!! I just love it. Well, I have done my fair share of blabbing now, cant wait for future installments!

Loving your TR!! You guys are going to have a great time together down there - my (now) hubby & I have been going together at least once a year since before we were married. We just love it!! Can't wait to hear all about the trip when you get back!


Oh....as hideous as I've always thought the Crocs were, I broke down & bought some for our January trip - I have had a lot of foot problems & the Crocs really are much more comfortable than my running shoes.

I was showing DH the stuff you bought to bring to Disney. When I was taking pictures to post on my PTR, DH was in disbelief that anyone cared. So, after glancing at your stuff, he told me that we are as bad as "Trekkies"!

by the way, i've heard that ASMu is actually a very enjoyable place to stay. i've heard it's the least busy of the AS hotels and that there's less kids there for some reason. i'm sure you'll like it!

i also broke out into a disney anticipation dance, but mine was the day before when i was getting everything together. i was running around like a mad woman and while standing in the kitchen by myself and it just hit me that i was leaving for disney the next day and i just started doing the running man and singing, "i'm going to disney world....i'm going to disney world!" my dogs were just looking at me like i had lost it!

God almighty, I'm back! (Insert BIG LONG SIGH) Our internet is back up, and I'm back from a glorious small 3day vaca to the Frisco/Dallas area for my first IKEA experience! OMG that place is amazing! All the other dorms will pale in comparison! But seriously, that place is amazing. Whats even better is coming home and putting 3 WHOLE DAYS WORTH of stickers on the countdown clock! DBF got a job 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, so the time is passing much faster for him than me...but more money for souveneirs! I freaked out a little about such a busy job, I was like "Now I have to do this all on my own!" ...and he responded, " Like you would want me to do anything anyway.." In which we both laughed, its true....

At Walmart, I got my first adult real world lesson..we went with $80 and got...3 bags! We actually had to put a couple of items back to get later.

i have the brown MJs and i love them!!! i want the black ones now. by the way, those blister bandaids you got rock. i only got one blister at disney (the day i wore flip flops and not my crocs!) and those bandaids worked so well....never came of and got all yucky!

I also swore I would never wear those "moon shoes"! But I wear my disney crocs all the time! I am even planning to get a pair for my DBF and a pair of the flip flops as well! lol! I am just anothe croc convert!
