J C Penney Snowglobe

Did anyone happen to get an extra one this morning and be willing to part with it? I'll be happy to pay for it!

I get one every year and this year they (supposedly) opened at 4 am. I got there at 4:07 (we slept through the alarm) and they were out. Come to find out they opened early - ugh! I'll know next year, but I'm so sad not to get one this year. I guess I'll try eBay if no one here has one - thanks!

Aw, I wish I'd have seen this before I went out! We got there at 7:30 and there were still a ton left, I only took one though. I had my daughter with me, so we could have grabbed two. I thought they were out, but we went in a side entrance and they were only handing them out at one entrance where hardly any goes in or out, our Penney's is in a weird, almost abandoned mall and not that many people even go there anymore. Sorry! Hope you get one!

I have a few extra send me your address and I will be happy to mail one to you.
Last year I wasn't able to get out and someone here sent me one. A few years before that I was going through chemo and didn't get one and again, someone from these boards sent me one when I asked.
I try to get a few extra when I do get to the store to send to others since everyone has always been so great to me when I needed them.

We hit the mall at midnight last night & noticed Penney's had put a huge sign/banner over their door stating that they'd be opening at 3am.


I didn't need anything from there, so didn't go in, but I did think to myself, "Boy, some people are not going to be happy they're opening earlier than their ad states".

I didn't even think to ask on here. I would be very thankful if anyone grabbed an extra. I have a nursing baby so figured this would be my first year to not get one in the past 6 years. I didn't want to take the baby in the crowds. I will gladly pay for shipping if anyone is willing to part with one!

Isn't that annoying? Online and in the ads it said the stores opened at 4 a.m., but the JCPenney nearest me opened at 3 a.m.

i think they sell them on line too. and cheap. check ebay

I was wondering when JCP opened. I planned to get there around 3:30am and when we arrived it was already long opened! Thankfully we got the snow globes but when we came back through at 4am the front areas were out of them and they had what was left at the customer service/salon entrance only. I would have been beyond disappointed if I arrived at 4am and they were all out.

I am not sure what time ours opened but it was before 4. While I was standing in line to pay for my purchases an announcement was made that it was a "soft opening" and that the only things not available were the items with limited supplies (toys) and the snow globes. They didn't even bring out those boxes til 4. I was able to shop, pay, take my items to the car and return for my snow globe.
