Like I posted yesterday, I was going to call DVC when I got home from work yesterday. But, when I walked through the door, my dh, Stephen, said DVC called me. He felt like I needed to talk to them since I'm the one with all the knowledge, so he had them call back in 30 minutes.
The initial person I talked to was just, basically, a sales person, but she didn't need to sell me, I was already going to buy. So, she quickly transfered me to a guide.
My guide is Betty Prickel (sp?). She was very nice and helpful. She was impressed with the amount of information I had. She asked me if I had friends and family who own, because I knew so much. I told her no, that I get most (okay all) my info here, on the Dis. She said usually those discussion boards tend to give out wrong info. I told her that there is so much traffic here, and lots of discussion, that at the end of a thread, after all the discussion, what boils down is good, reliable information. She wanted to know if anyone said anything bad about her, and I told her I didn't think so. She said if I heard anything to let her know so she could get her act together.
She also said she may check out the site to see what it's like. I really liked her.
Anyway, when the conversation was over, I had put 1/2 down on my credit card (the other 1/2 is due by 3/28). Stephen was happy to put it on the credit card (we have the cash to pay it off), because he gets credit at the Harley store when using this card. When all is said and done, we'll have enough credit to by a new seat for the bike.
So, maybe by the end of the month, we'll be owners. I am so excited today, I can't stand it.
Oh, and, by the way, BCV is registered in Colorado!!!
