For the past 4 trips i've ever stayed on-site, i've stayed at HRH and loved it. Not for the theming but for the superior service, the proximity to the park, and the overall "feel" it gives you!!! I want to try RPR this time around for something new and also affordable. Has anyone stayed at both? Also does anyone have pictures of the RPR rooms?

My wife and I prefer the RPR over HRH. We love RPR's laid-back atmosphere. Two of our favorite restaurants , Jake's American Bar and Emeril's Tchoup Chop, are located there. We also feel that the Island's Dining Room has the best breakfast buffet of the three resorts. The short covered bridge that seperates the parking/drop-off location from the hotel, and the lobby fountain are nice touches.

i have stayed at both.

you will find better service at rph.

Thanks for all the info, looks like thats where I'll book our 2 night stay :) I was hoping to find pics of the refurb'd rooms but i'll check around these threads

We are just the opposite. We have only stayed at RPR and never thought of staying at the other 2. We like the decor and the relaxing atmosphere. Staff is great also. I have been to HRH to pool hop and enjoyed the pool and lunch poolside but really did not get the whole feeling when we explored the rest of the hotel. My brother first stayed at HRH and loved it until he tried RPR and he will never go back to HRH.:thumbsup2

Those photos look exacty like it.:lmao:

You will love RPR. We have done all 3 but have to say we personally prefer HRH. We have young children who love the theming of HRH and we think service was better at HRH than at RPR. All very personal choice but I don't think you can go wrong as we have found service in all 3 to be great and it is good to try new things . So enjoy your stay.

We have made the jump from HRH to RPR and LOVE IT!!! Service is WAY better, and we love roaming around the resort.

We will never go back!

Thanks so much for posting this, I can't wait now!! :cool1:
We stayed at the RPR for the first time last year and loved it and we are going to stay there this june for 7 days this time and can't wait :cool1:

we stayed there in october 08 and HATED it - we have always stayed at HRH and because i waited too long to book had to stay at RPR - i didnt find the food there to be to our liking - the dining room menu had nothing any of us liked - the buffet was good - and at jakes i ended up not eating anything i order except for the pizza -- just a personal opinion but i would never stay here again - also we felt that the rooms were smaller than at the HRH it felt like we were on top of each other all the time.
