This reminds me of a woman in front of me who wore a GIANT sorcerer mickey hat/ears (the big cone shaped kind). I did very politely ask if she would mind taking it off just as the show was starting and it became clear she had no intention of removing it for the show, and she did take it off then, but it just made me wonder... really odd what people are thinking, or rather, not thinking
We would never dream of using the adult only pools or loungers with a family, but as for families "wandering though" that was expressly allowed and even encouraged by the
DCL staff when we were located far forward. We actually had a staff member on our first day walk us through the adult areas when we asked how to get from our stateroom to the family pool. I did find it very awkward, though (once someone yelled at us and a staff member had to speak up to say that families are allowed to walk through, just not use the pool), and I think it is odd they did not have a cut-through from the forward elevators to the family areas that bypasses the adult area entirely. We had the same issue one time when were trying to get to the captain jack meet and greet on deck 4 and didn't realize the aft elevators let out in an adult area, but at least there we get quickly get to the outdoor deck and walk around, unlike the deck 11 situation where it lets out right at the cove pool. It sounds like based on what the cast members were telling us is that they are adult only
facilities, not adult-only
areas.
