on our past 5 cruises i've always went with DCL insurance and this time i held off in getting it, half thinking i would hope for the best and not spend the $99 times three that they offer for the trip insurance on the seven day cruise and i forget what the 4 day cruise goes for, well i got to thinking that i have a lot of money invested in this trip and i would be foolish not to insure it. i saw on these boards about insure my trip.com and looked into it, at first i was confused about all the plans they have to offer and it seemed so much more cheaper than going with DCL. so here's what i ended up with, for $282 we're covered from the time we depart our home till we come back, so instead of just insuring our 4 day cruise or our 7 day cruise separately this insurance covers both plus our 5 park days and air and car rental plus all the other items that you get with insurance, don't know how this is possible and to make sure i understood it correctly i even called the 800 number to make sure i had the facts straight. if it wasn't for these great boards i would have never landed such a great deal. thanks.
