Ive just received my council tax bill!!!

I really wouldnt mind if i felt that I got value for money

It's annoying isn't it??? Ours are just over £1500 this year. What band are you in???

We are band B and ours has gone up to £790 a year

Can't remember what band we're in but for a small one-bedroom flat ours is about £830!
You could have a Disney holiday for that!

We are in band D which means £997.43

I suppose I can't complain too much as we are in Band G, just glad we're still not in Liverpool as they had one of the dearest council tax rates in the country. My MIL who also lives in Liverpool is paying just over £1100 and is in Band C

We live in warwickshire which has just hoiked theirs up a whopping 19% - AAAAGH
We're only in B and we're paying £1015. Would'nt mind but the service is pretty terrible and all the councillors have just awarded themselves another pay increase
