I've just been made redundant - ***Update 18/3 Good news

Have just heard that I am being made redundant on Friday.

Totally out of the blue.

Booked for the the Yacht Club 02/04/07 - still going.

Booked for POFQ 22/03/08 - who knows?

I could cry, hugs please!!

Sorry to hear this. Look on the bright side though. In October last year I was "separated" from my company. Very little up to Christmas, but I've already had 3 interviews this year and last Thursday's is looking promising.

In my opinion POFQ is still on for you. Good hunting for that better opportunity.

Thanks all, I work in IT and there do seem to be quite a few jobs around.

I'm trying to be positive but I just want to be at that point 3 months.....6 months......a year down the line when I actually have another job and know that its better. Just don't want to do all the interview stuff.

I suppose I'm lucky if my first thought was 'what about the holiday'? It could have been 'what about the mortgage' or 'what about feeding us'.

I have my priorities.
