We are leaving on our 1st trip to WDW on the 19th of Jan, I have some questions about what to take. My DD9, doesn't like loud noises, I was going to get ear plugs, is there a certain kind someone would recommend? She also loves wearing her crocs, is this ok, or should I have her wear tennis shoes instead? Is it too late for me to get crocs to wear, do they have to be broken in like other shoes, I've heard lots of good things about them?
I have the hats and gloves, are there any other items I should pack that would be helpful that most people wouldn't think of. Do you need sunscreen in Jan.? Thanks for your help. I'm getting very excited about our trip!!!

1 Squissy earplugs work great
2 yes on the crocs' just take socks DD worn them in OCT with no problem
3 get your crocs' they don't have a break-in as long as they are real Crocs'
4 sunscreen not as needed but if the sun is out you should protect yourself.
5 still might need ponchos' as well.
6 Backpack to carry sweatshirts, ponchos',hats ,gloves.(you can leave this in locker until needed.
7 Have a great time

My DD9 also hates loud noises. We got earplugs that are on a string so we wouldn't lose them if they fell out. They also make some that are on a headband. Look in the tool section.

How much do lockers cost? How much time would it take us to get back to hotel and grab a sweater?

Anita967:

Lockers are $7/day (with a $2 refund when you turn your key back in).

Takes way too much time to go back to the hotel for something like that - you'd probably lose at least an hour of travel time doing that, unless you're going back to the hotel for a rest, too. Lockers are the way to go (or take a small backpack - it's a great way to keep something light, like a sweater, with you. Much handier - sometimes it's a pain to walk all the way across the park for a sweater in your locker, too! (Epcot is very big, and takes about a half an hour just to walk from one end to the other!)

Lockers - $7.00/day
Traveling back and forth from the resorts to the parks takes quite a chunk of time (at least 45min to 1hr of travel). Take the sweater with you and tie it around your waist.
