I've read all your wonderful posts, thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers.

Here is the short story:
Monday morning I had complications and DH took me to the hosptal where I was admitted. They took care of me and said the baby is doing so much better than I was. They gave me drugs to stop labor and it did. I'm still not 100% but I did get to come home. The Dr wants me to make it to 36 weeks, that's 2 weeks away so I'm on bedrest.
In the meantime DH and I have a contract on our house and need to get ready to move!

The longer, more interesting story, with maybe TMI:
Monday morning I woke to something not being right. I called for DH and he came and helped me get ready to go to the hospital. Then he went into the kitchen and fainted! I went in and yelled for him to get up and take me in! So we got it together but on the way we were stopped by the police. DH explained the situation and the officer said "Good lord man, go!" We made it in with no more mishaps.
They checked me out and said my placenta had torn but the baby was still getting oxygen and food so everything was OK, we just needed to stop the labor. So they put me on magnisium. This was a very very bad thing. My side effects were pretty severe, breathing problems, chest pains. I finally got past the worst thank goodness.
In the meantime, Monday night DH had to meet with our realtor, 3 prospective buyers, finalize our contract for selling our house and sign the papers. Then he had to run by the hosp. and have me sign the papers. We had 4 people want to buy our house!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor guy has had to set up the moving dates w/o my help and w/o knowing when this baby is going to come. But the house is sold, and the moving date is set for June 1st.
So today they took me off the magnisium and the withdraw symptoms were worse than anything yet. Severe breathing problems and chest pains. Thankfully today I'm much better. But the drug they put me on in place of the mag makes me a big space cadet. And I'm home with strict instructions on what to watch out for and in 2 weeks I come off the drugs and see if baby Thor really is ready to come or not. So he could be here a month early!

This has been hard, really hard. But I've got lots of support. I think I'll have to have my shower here but hopefully I'll make it, and I can't wash all his little things or get the nusery ready for him, I can't get off my deriere long enough to do much or go up and down stairs. All things I was really looking forward to. Oh well. Life gives it to you and then you deal with it. DH and I are strong and apparently Thor is too! Thank you all so much again for your good thoughts and prayers.

Big {{{HUGS}}} Sonya, what a scary ordeal but I'm glad you're HOME! Don't worry about the home, it will all fall into place, just rest and keep growing little Thor.

Hang in there! :)

HUGS, Sonya!!!!!!!!!!!! Take care of yourself and that little fella! I'm SO happy you're both okay!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Tell Mr. Sonya not to be afraid to ask for help from family, friends, neighbors, total strangers ;) .........a big moving day HUG for him, too. :)

Hey, Michelle, I'm Sonja, she's Sonya :teeth:

Glad to hear you're home and I'll bet you'll sleep easier there too....even if you have to take meds every few hours around the clock. I had a different complication and went into labor at 29 weeks with DD. I agree, those meds do a number on you but if they work they're worth it. I managed to keep that kid inside until 38 weeks........she was 8 pounds at birth and is now a healthy, smart, beautiful 8 year-old!

You just take care of yourself and little Thor.......everything else will work out just fine!

Glad to hear that you're doing well! :bounce: :bounce:

Glad to hear you are better....stay on that bed rest!

The day my last one was born, my placenta tore. I had to have an emergency c-section.

Please be careful. Glad to hear you are all hanging in there!

Good luck with Thor, and hope your DH does not faint in the delivery room;)

I still think baby Thor is in a hurry to get here so you can take him to WDW.;)

{{hugs}} I'm glad you're ok.:) 2 weeks will fly by.:) Curl up on the couch and watch some good movies or something.:)

I wonder if Thor's first words will be in French or English?:)

I'm glad you're doing better. The next few weeks will fly by.

I'm glad things are better for you and the baby. Stay on the bedrest. The doctors know what they are talking about. I went through something similar with my daughter except the tear was at the beginning of the pregnancy. I was in bed for 7 weeks and my daughter will be 12 this year. You will be fine. Please keep us posted. :D

(((HUGS))) I know how bad mag can be. I was lucky enough to avoid it, but read a lot about it (with my PIH there was a chance I'd need it) and some friends had had it.

Even though you won't get to put the nursery together and do that first washing of the baby clothes, it will all get done and soon (but not too soon!) you will have your baby in your arms.

My continued prayers for you...stay healthy! Oh, and TLC has some great mindless shows on in the afternoon. If you get sick of tv (I know I did when I was put on bedrest) you can always try to read, and get much needed rest. Hard to do, I know, but try!

Good luck

Marcia

Nice to see you here and back again, Sonya, my continued good wishes for you and little Thor. And your hubby too. :) Here..........

Have some kaki gori

Sonya, I'm so glad your are all right. I had the same problem with Kevin. I wasn't on bed rest but I had to be very careful. Do what the doc says and ask others for help.

I'm glad that you are back home again. That was quite a fright, I would imagine.

I'm glad things are going better.

Good to hear from you, Sonya. I'm glad you and baby Thor are doing well. Selling/buying a house is sooooo stressful in itself. Take care, hope you continue to do well. Hang in there for another couple of weeks, Thor!:D

Hugs and well wishes to you and "Thor". I wonder if you were allergic to the magnesium? I know I would be.

Wow, it sounds like it could be a movie plot. :) Hang in there and I hope everything goes well. Baby Thor sounds a little impatient. :teeth:
