Interesting, I had just gone backwards to the first post I saw where it sounded like they had opened things up.I actually was in the queue at 10:03am on one of my chrome browsers.
Trust me, no one was more surprised than I was...it just flipped into the queue I think and I was so afraid it was going to kick me out so I pretty much held my breath while it was all happening.Interesting, I had just gone backwards to the first post I saw where it sounded like they had opened things up.
Another SS update!Challenge sold out July 30th @ 3:02pm central
CURSE YOU GOOD MORNING AMERICA!!!!!!!Bumping for a W&D update:
5k: sold out at 11:24 (advertising more bibs for this race)
10k: sold out at 10:54
Half: sold out at 11:15
Challenge: sold out at 11:02
Have they caught on to our tricks...Relevant to the registration experience if not the exact sellout times:
The share queue ID button for W&D hidden for regular users, unlike prior registrations.
A queue ID may have been readable if the webpage was inspected with dev tools, but I haven't seen definitive confirmation of or of a queue spot actually being shared.
They've been well aware for awhile. It pops up on almost every major RD social site (it's banned on the main RD subreddit though) and I'm sure they're keeping an eye out. They had tried to push through revised queue software for a recent race weekend but something went wrong with it, this time it worked without any issues.Have they caught on to our tricks...
