I've been slacking off on my RP-ing

How is everyone doing? Tell me some good RP-ing reward stories so I can get motivated again! :)

I've also been feeling a little down about RPs but in the past 30 days I've collected:

$21.19 check from NetFlip
$50 webcertificate from MyPoints
$10 Disney Dollars from CTTM
$13 webcertificate from Chase-i
$10 from Pinecone

Not too bad for the little bit of clicking that I've been doing! Keep your chin up! Holiday shopping is coming up and you know the RPs will be clamoring for your business with so many people doing more and more online shopping every year.

I was faithful in the beginning, checking all the sites I'd signed up for everyday and clicking everything. The past two weeks I haven't felt as compelled to go after the points. I usually go to Milesource and Memolink everyday after checking email, the go to the survey sites to see if anything new opened.

I've been primarily sticking to clicking through emails from Memolink and MyPoints, completing surveys at Gozing, NFO, EPoll and Survey Spot (is that the one I'm using or is it Survey Network or both?), answering trivia and clicking through the MileBuilder at Milesource and trivia and sites on Memolink. I've drifted from Blink, feeling they are too time consuming for the rewards.

I resolved not to sign up for any new trials or memberships fees so as not to take away from my savings for Christmas and WDW. I don't have the extra $ right now to join clubs and shop online just to earn points. The shipping fees are not worth it when I can go locally and buy the same for less and save the postage.

So far I've cashed 1,000 pts at Milesource, my first redemption since joining this past summer. I received $4.50 in my PayPal account yesterday for a survey I completed a month ago at GoZing and my MyPoints account is nearing 2700 points. Other points are building, but I'm not in a position to grow them dramatically as stated earlier in my post.

I did get a $4.00 paypal deposit yesterday from GoZing which kind of made me go "hey, they do pay off eventually" so I guess I will have to get back to it. I haven't bought anything through MyPoints in ages and so my total there is really low but with the holidays coming up, its true. It will be a good way to earn some stuff for next year's trip. Got to remember it does pay off if I keep at it. Now if I could only do the same with my diet. :(

Well, so far this year I've gotten around $600 (plus the $100+ in DDRD on my Disney Visa).

Just in the past month I've gotten:

$7 from Greenfield
$50 in Webbies from MyPoints
$15 WalMart GC from Lucky Points
$10 from MySurvey
$25 RFC GC from MyPoints (on my Mom's account)
$25 LLBean GC from S&H Greenpoints

I'm still waiting for some of that to come in the mail. Along with the $25 from Memolink and $10 from Blink that may or may not show up someday.

I am having trouble understanding cttm. It seems the only way to earn points is through purchases. Have I missed something similar to my points where you can just read some emails for points?

CTTM has searches on both the seach page and the daily clicks page. There are also weekly banners to click on and the occasional paid email. You can get rewarded for doing just those activities or you can bolster your points by doing some sign ups or puchases.

That's wonderful! That's almost a full solo trip for me. :) Congrats!

Thanks! Since my brother is DVC and we all stay using his points, we don't have to worry about the room cost. Just transportation (which this trip is driving our own car--so just gas/food/lodging on the trip down) and food/passes/misc. once we get there. I have a whole spreadsheet with our "proposed" budget for the trip and it comes to just over $1200 for the three of us.

I have Disney Dollars/DDRD to cover all of our food while we're there. We have two "days" left on old passes (a third if I can ever find it--otherwise we will just buy a one day to keep costs down instead of investing in a bigger pass right now) and we already bought a 4-day pass. The Webbie card and RFC will go towards my souvenirs from the trip. I also have extra Disney Dollars to cover a few misc. expenses while we're there. Guess it's time to order our MVMCP tickets--so those will be paid off before we go. Oh, and I have a $50 AMEX gift cheque to cover part of hotel costs on the way down. I need some cash for the trip, but I think I figured we need around $400 to cover the bills from the trip we might have when we come back home.

I have to go into all the detail so I can justify to DH a now Annual trip to WDW with my parents and brothers. I also like to know where the money goes so I can better plan for the next trip. I kept fairly detailed records this past January, and did sort of a "post-trip budget analysis" on it when planning for this trip. We're staying at OKW, so we plan to do 5 breakfasts in the room, and I'm curious to see how that affects the dining expenses for this trip.

Can you tell I'm the daughter of two bookkeepers?!? Guess I gotta use that business degree for something....

If I could find a little clapping guy to put here, I would. That is amazing!

You will love OKW by the way. Its one of my favorites. I wish someone I knew had points I could use there for free. :)
