Well it has been many months in the making. I finally have a complete rough draft of Restaurants for our two week WDW trip in AKL. There will most likely be myself, my parents, my niece(6yo), my brother, and my sister in-law. The group may not be complete at each restauarant, but I will be dining there with them or with out them. We are usuallyBreakfast and Dinner People. Light snack for lunch

SciFi (Lunch or Dinner)
Bistro De Paris or Chefs de France (Dinner)- Were not sure which one, we have never been to Bistro De paris
Le Cellier (Dinner)
Cinderella's Royal Table (Dinner for me and Breakfast for Mom and Niece)
Boma (Breakfast)
Spoodles (Not sure for what, but have heard good things)
Beaches and Cream- Will be getting our first and probably last Kitchen Sink
Concourse Steackhouse- For Stickey Mickeys
Kona Cafe- For Tonga Toast
California Grill- The Me and Mom Meal
V&A (Maybe Chef's Table)- The me and Dad meal

I'm sure this list will be modified a few hundred times before Jan. I need all the help I can get.

We just returned, and I think I can help you on the French meal...Bistro de Paris. It was one of the best meals we have had in WDW. It is upstairs from Chefs, with a great view. The service was warm and friendly and the food was FABulous. The waiter even sent me a recipe for one of the sauces. The souffle is a must have, and you have to order it along it with your meal to give them time to prepare it.

Hope this helps you decide, we absolutely loved every aspect of this meal.

SciFi (Lunch or Dinner) -- I typically dine here once a trip and have never been unhappy

Le Cellier (Dinner) -- Great place!

Cinderella's Royal Table (Dinner for me and Breakfast for Mom and Niece) -- This has now become a must-dine for me for either lunch or dinner.

Spoodles (Not sure for what, but have heard good things) -- Absolutely the best meal I had on my last trip! This is a definite must-dine for me!!

Beaches and Cream- Will be getting our first and probably last Kitchen Sink -- This is a great place!

Concourse Steackhouse- For Stickey Mickeys -- Had dinner here on my last trip and it was excellent!

Kona Cafe- For Tonga Toast -- Tried the Tonga Toast on last trip and it was ok, but I think a little too sweet for me.

Some other suggestions:
O'Hana's, 1900 Park Fare, Garden Grill, Rose & Crown, Liberty Tree Tavern, Crystal Palace, 50's Primetime & Tusker House.

Mike.. you didn't mention the "old people" aren't they allowed out of the room for meals? :p

Brining the "old people" idea is still up in the air. But, would probably have to add a really special meal to the mix. Any ideas???

Thnks, I now think that we will have to go up stairs for the first time. It always seems a little less packed and a more quite atmosphere.

Good choices. We have :
-had dinner at Boma and it was fabulous-we are returning next trip.
-Love Kona Cafe for dinner and exceptional desserts prepared in front of you by the dessert chef(DS loved this)
-Spoodles is fun to get alot of appetizers to share and make your meal that way.
-Beaches and Cream has the best burgers!
-California grill is great (creme brulee). We did adults only at this one and I recommend that.
-1900PF breakfast buffet is the best on property.fresh wonderful food and great CM waitstaff and characters. Donals's in AK is second. IMHO
- Le Cellier is our new favorite . we did CP pkg on 12/30/02, for last show. Food is very good and CM wonderful.

The six year old will probably love the atmosphere at Sci-Fi. I know my DS 4 did! Because of all the reviews on this board, we got cheeseburgers and did not try any of the fancier stuff. They were good. I think it is more of a lunch place because I am more of a cheeseburger/fry person at lunch.

We really liked LeCellier too! I ate at Bistro seven years ago on my honeymoon, and it was very good then.

We also just ate at Boma for dinner. It was our overall favorite. It was such a fun place to try different things. The kids' pods are very good also, mac and cheese, pb&j, spaghetti, chicken nuggets (real chicken if I remember right), and lots of fruit.

No Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's for breakfast

Those are our favorites!!!
