I have just completed Step one, right?

THE Lou? I just got your book last week! I've only been to WDW once 6 years ago and am taking my DS18 for a graduation present in late June. I've had fun going through the book and have learned a lot, I just hope there isn't a test when I get done!
I've also started my own planning notebook, started the packing list, started putting stuff together for the trip... Hi, my name is Shawn and I'm a Disneyholic too! (I swear it was a girls name when I was born!)

My biggest concern is that I've put so much stock in this "once-in-a-lifetime" trip that I'm concerned about the "withdrawls" or "Post-WDW Depression" I'm going to suffer when our July 05' trip ends. I'm counting on DL & DCA to help ease the problem.

Anybody else feel this way?

This is my biggest fear too!! The closer we get to the trip, the crazier and more obsessive I become.... and the more DBf asks "What are you going to do when we get back??" It's a little scary to think about, comming back to the boards after ten heavenly days in the world, knowing I won't have another true Disney Vacation till December! We should start a support group board !!! (Hopefully we'll get good use out of our AP's for a few long weekends in between )

Each day gets harder and harder. I made a countdown chain for my DD3. I started at 70 days and it's almost half gone. I think I enjoy taking the links off more than she does!

Some people just dont get it. But that is ok.
I put a mickey sticker in my desk at work to remind me why I am comign to work everyday!
It also helps me with the winter blues up her in the east!

I'm going for the first time ever (I'll be 27 in April). My son's 7th birthday is the day we leave. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! I started crying on my way to work this morning. My son doesn't know we are going, and I just CAN'T WAIT TO TELL HIM that he gets to go to Disney for a week!!
I just found these boards the other day and I'm SO addicted. I want everything to be perfect. My boyfriend laughs at me. He's been SO many times that he's lost count. I keep telling him, we need to do this, and we should do that. He's like "OK Megan" He just has no idea how excited I am.

Okay, I'm Jackie, and I am a Disney Addict too. Spend way too much time here and planning my trip. Don't really have the time to spend but I CAN'T HELP IT!!!! These boards are the source of the infection, I think. WDW is the cure!!!

Can't wait to get there.

Oh yea, I got it. And love it. CDC center for disney control!! I'm an RN and boy did that hit me funny. I don't want any immunization or 12 step program for this illness. I'm having such fun. Reading, writing, planning, all while listening to live365 Lion King Radio station! I was just teary (a precious disney song) talking to DH who thinks I'm a kook but he keeps smilin'.
I will not worry about the next trip right now. I will enjoy all the planning for April.

I too am a Disney addict. I am planning our trip in June. It will be my hubby and daughters first trip to WDW. I am on DIS 3-4 times a day, I am so ADDICTED. I had a friend (DISer, herself), warn me. I am trying to get my NON-EXCITED husband into this and it's not working.

I must admit it too..I am a disneyholic too. I love Disneyworld & all things Disney. My DH & kis love Disney very much & wouldn't want to go anywhere else...I know I am nuts, but it's so much fun.

Like another person here said I want to cry on my last day too. I cry when I see the castle. I am bummed because as my kids get older it is getting harder to take them out of school to go to WDW. I keep thinking this may be our last trip for awhile!

My whole family is infected! We love Disney so much, and we're getting ready to make our third trip in three years. I am really looking forward to this trip, because since our last one, we have had a year of ups and downs, the most recent being my father's diagnosis of bladder cancer (The tumors were superficial, so after some preventative treatment to keep them from returning, he will be OK, but it was scary just the same.). Every time I think about our trip, I get teary, and I know I will absolutely lose it once we get there. After everthing we've been through this year, it will be wonderful to finally be in our "happy place", and I know this trip will be the most special yet.

Until then, we get our Disney fixes from the planning videos and listen to park music CDs and Radio Disney in the car. I also wear my charm bracelet that I made at the parks last year every day, and on my DD's lunch box notes, I tell her how many days are left until we leave. And, of course, I'm on the DIS boards every day!

I too am completely obsessed and was so pleased that we bought into DVC on our last trip in October as now I know we will go back every year for 49 years! It is all the harder for me to visit as we live in London, UK.

I lie awake thinking about the different times in the year I can visit when my 11 year old DD has left school.

I have all the trivia books and the magic moments electronic trivia game which I play all the time. I think about Disney when I am work and while I am asleep.

I too am happy without a cure. My friends and relatives do not understand.

I use to wonder what all the fuss was about, geez, it's only a theme park....that was then...now I'm planning our 2nd trip for this December. Nine months until Disney....hmmm, I remember being pregnant for 9 months and I didn't even have names for the kids until after they were born. I've only had reservations for 1 week, and I already have an base itinerary!

The only cure for Disneyitis is to be around other infected persons. It doesn't cure you, just makes you seem normal!

I hope while you're surfing you are listening to Mouse House Radio, Radio Lion King, etc at Live365.com! Right now Lion King is playing. I told my best friend I won't call about any more Dis info. I had called her DH to let him know about something he would enjoy at AKL and he sick of hearing about Disney I know he will have fun when he is there but I did feel bad when he didn't want to hear my great news/idea. BTW, they are letting me make all the plans and I saved ea of the 3 families $1200.00 so far. Oh, well I enjoy the planning. Esp. like finding the codes and deals. Now Mulan is playing. Oh check it out.
