Please, we desperately need your prayers again. For those of you who don't know or remember, my daughter Laura had a heart transplant as a baby. She is now almost 17 (bday March 28). In 2002 she contracted West Nile Virus and was in the hospital almost two months and required months of rehabilitation.
Now she is experiencing severe rejection. This was diagnosed last Friday and she was put on high steroids at home. Today she was biopsied again to see if there was improvement and there was none. So tomorrow she's being admitted to the hospital for three days of stronger IV meds to see if they can turn this around. The doctors assure us this is very serious and not something to be taken lightly (not that we are).
Please, please, please pray for Laura once again. I am in shock. My husband just left for Alabama last week on a job and will be gone for two months so I'm dealing with this alone. I'm sure its hard on him being away at a time like this. Thank you.
