Kitty, it helps to read that the IV treatment has worked for you. What is your primary anti-rejection medication? Laura has been on Cellcept and Neoral. Now they want to take her off Neoral and put her on something called Prograf.

I am also on Cellecept and Neoral. Prograf is very good. Alot of transplant people are on Prograf, I was started out on Prograf, but I had tremors so bad,that I could not write my name or hold a cup. I am also on Predisone. Also make sure your dd drinks plenty of water. The IV treatment will blow your dd up, but in time that will go away. If you do not mind may I ask what hospital she will be in? Also it is common to sometimes change ones anit-rejection meds.

Kitty, she is going to be in Primary Childrens Medical Center.

She is also on Prednisone. I don't know how the IV meds will affect her but I know from previous boughts with prednisone that it will make her gain weight and swell up. Not that this is important in the grand scheme of things when we are trying to save her life, but her junior prom is coming up the end of April. This was to be her very first date. She's missing promenade practice too. This was supposed to be her time to be a princess and wear a beautiful dress, etc. And now all this . . .
