I just checked NHC's website (while waiting on hold to make PS) and Ivan is projected to turn towards Florida - sharply!

Very cool my mom is calling to cancel her trip to Aruba as Ivan is set to roll righ on over it or very close to it and she wants nothing to do with that.

Wow cool site! Thanks for posting it. I have been wondering what is happening with the hurricane and have been unable to find out much information on it.

I have family in Florida and a cruise planned for Oct.

Of course I hope Ivan fizzles or moves way south but right now I would rather see him come into the Gulf than Florida. We just left Florida last week and they simply can't take much more.

I'm in Ms. so if it comes to the Gulf it could come towards us but right now I think we could handle it much much better than Florida.
