Carmen did sound awful and her dress looked like something her mom should be wearing.

I liked everyone but Carmen, Kim C. & Trenyce.

One big disappointment tonight. My boys and I placed bets on how many times Randy would say "Dawg". We only counted four! Man! We were way off.

Kim L., Ruben, and Clay - dressed sharp, sounded great! I guess I could say the same about Josh - I'm not a huge fan, but loved his "piano man". I agreed with Randy about Trenyce -although I think she's talented she wasn't really on tonight. Kim C. and Carmen gotta go! I've got to give Carmen a lot of credit - she really took criticism well.

I thought Kimberly Locke did a great job!

As for Kimberly Caldwell, I'd love to see her go and I thought it was funny when Simon told her that her performance was suitable for 6 Flags or something to that effect.

I think Josh did a really good job.

Rueben was good.

Clay-I don't know what happened but I totally lost interest in clay. He can sing, but I picture him to be more of a Vegas show singer (sorry Clay fans) and I couldn't have agreed more with Simon when he said he enjoyed Clay more when he listed to him with his eyes clothes because of the facial expressions he makes. I can't stand those facial expressions.

I think Trynece sounds like she's yelling sometimes instead of singing. I wouldn't mind seeing her go.

I think Carmen will probably be gone tonight. I think she did a great job last night when the judges gave their opinions, I probably would have been in tears.

Anyone else notice how Ryan Seaward didn't go, " RRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUBBBBBBBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNN", this time but just said everyone's name the same?

Even if he does look and Sing like a younger Barry Manilow! Kimberly Locke I like too, the bottome 3 will be: Trenyse, Kimberly C and CARMEN! Please let Carmen be GONE tonight, PLEASE!!!

I kinda like Carmen, but the last couple weeks have been no good. I think she should gone, just based on that dress!!!!!!

I love Kimberly Locke, I voted for the first time last night, because I'm tired of seeing her in the bottom three.

I was cringing when Josh said he was dong "Piano Man", and was pleasantly surprised when he was done, he did great.

Kim C (who I used to like) and Trenyce just irritate me now.

I know Ruben is being told to try something different, didn't "Sweet Home Alabama" qualify as slightly different a few weeks ago??

I've learned in the past couple of weeks that there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between who SHOULD be voted off and who IS voted off.

It is painfully obvious that Carmen or Kimberly Caldwell should go. However, it has been painfully obvious for WEEKS that they should go. For some reason they have some huge following that continues to vote for them even when they STINK!!!!

I thought that Kimberley Locke stole the show. She is getting better and better. I'll be really PO'd if she is in the bottom three this week.

bye bye carmen,atleast she should go.....i liked her earlier but she isnt ready for idolism yet...OMG- what was with that dress? I'm glad CLAY did something diff, why does simon have to comment on how they look when they sing, when you buy a cd its audio,not video....and he never says anything about rubens look.....thought it was great that JOSH took an extra mile with his song choice and was glad to finally here simon say that RUBEN was predictable.....GO CLAY!!!!

I'd put them in the exact same order that you have them, Dodie. Kim Locke ROCKED last night!! I still think Clay is immensely talented, but would do better on Broadway than as a pop star.

I'm going to have to miss tonight's episode, so I'll be counting on you folks for a recap tomorrow!!

EXCEPT, the one about Josh. I thought he sounded wonderful. I was so worried about how he would sound singing Piano Man, but I litterally welled up with tears when he started belting it out. He didn't sound too country twangy at all. *sigh* He's sooo dreeeamy.

I agree with several others here, Clay is adorable, but he's more broadway/vegas sounding to me. I also agreed with Paula, I'd like to see him dance around or something. I was really dreading it when he first started singing. I thought ugh, he's going to try to sing that slow!!! Thankfully he picked it up though.

Ruben sounded great as usual but I agree with Simon. He's too predictable. (another thing I admired about Joshs choice, he didn't want to be predictable) I'm so glad that he's not wearing those darn 205 shirts.

Kim L. blew em away! She looked and sounded great! Anyone else think that she's looking prettier each week? I think she may have even shed a couple of pounds or is picking great outfits that flatter her very well. I've been a fan of hers from the start and have been so disappointed when she ended up in the bottom 3 so many times.

All I can say about Kim C., Trenyce, and Carmen, is GONG!!!!!!!!!!! GONG!!!!!! GONG!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Simon is not only looking for someone with a great voice but a great look also. That's why he has made the comments he has about the clothing they have chosen to wear.

I wonder if Clay has had some voice training. The way he moves his face sometimes and pronouces his words makes me think that maybe he has. If he had a little bit of help (direction) in these areas I bet he could make some changes.

Thought it was interesting when Ryan said he enjoyed Simon more with his eyes closed

DD finds Josh "dreamy" too. IMHO he is the only one who physically could be an idol and is better to listen to with your eyes open. I'm sure he will do well no matter how he does in this competition.
