I couldn't help but tear up when they kept showing Josh with his face in his hands. I think he is ready to go home and knows that he doesn't really deserve to be there any longer. I love him dearly, but his time is up.

I agree. Josh is still there because he has a huge fan base, not because of his singing. I enjoy his singing sometimes but feel that he has overstayed his time.

Okay, today has been total rushing around and I did not have time to set the VCR. I'm trying to gather from these posts what happened and it sounds like I missed a good one!

Ruben, Trenyce and Josh were the final 3? And Trenyce went home I'm guessing? Fill me in on what else happened!!! Please!

WHOA...now tonights show was a WILD RIDE!!

Josh sang just GREAT tonight.. wish he would sing like that during the competition! I agree he looked totally stressed when Ruben was put on the floor next to Trenyce

I actually think I may purchase the Love song album.. Those kids sounded beautiful.

I guess it just goes to show you. . .no one is safe! I'm no big Ruben supporter and feel that Clay is the AI, but even Josh knew that it was his turn on the hot seat. You can't underestimate the country/Marine fan base. After the Tamyra Gray fiasco over Nikki the Stripper last year. . . The title is up for grabs!

To answer a previous post--there wasn't a bottom 3, only 2. It was Ruben and Trenyce with Trenyce taking the hook. The judges took America to task telling us to "Please vote" for the best "singer" not your favorite performer.

Now I'm really looking forward to next week.

My dd and I sat there, glumly waiting for Josh to be called to the final two...the poor kid burst into tears when Ruben was called!! We just prayed that it wouldn't be him. And poor Josh. You're all right on this...he sure did look like he had his bags packed, ready to go home. I wonder if there is some tension with the other performers with him? He hasn't seemed to be a part of the group for awhile now. I wouldn't have wanted to be Josh last night when they all went back to their digs. But, he did sing terrifically last night. Really loose and 'free'. That's what will happen when you have no pressure or stress. And since I'm sure he felt he was outta there last night, he sang like he had nothing to lose. Maybe he can repeat that next week.

I can NOT believe that Ruben was in the final two!!! What is wrong with the people voting! To let Josh and Kim be safe? If either Clay or Ruben are not in the final two, I am done watching this show. Josh and Kim are NOT GOOD SINGERS!!! and do NOT deserve to win.

That's why this show is strictly a popularity contest, not truly who is the best singer. I guess Josh has more fans than Ruben, and that's what it comes down to.

The show is good, but they need to revamp how they go about picking the next American Idol.
