Hi, I'm new to this board, but wanted to ask you all if I could join one of your pace groups. My training buddy stayed healthy while I broke my toe and had to hold off jogging. She's going to jog the half. I really would like to have a group to walk or maybe even jog some. Do you all allow that?? I'm a fun person and I did do the half slowly in memory of my dad in 2004... If you allow joiners, I would be happy to meet up with you all somewhere for company along the merry 13.1 miles.

Oh good! I'm so pleased! I was getting worried about having to try to slog through 13.1 all alone. I knew there HAD to be some folks walking, but wasn't sure how to find them. Hi everyone. This is a tough one. If I had time to train like most overyone else here this is what I would guess:
Half-Marathon: 2:00 - 2:15
Marathon: 4:15 - 4:30
My current PR's are 1:59 for a Half and 4:41 for a Marathon.
However, this is not the case. No, no my friends.
So, I am going to guess something around.....
Half-Marathon: 2:30 -2:45*
Marathon:5:00 - 5:15*
These could have just as easily been pulled out of a hat. My goal is to enjoy this to the max and FINISH!
* I am running with close friends and partners. Their time will be my time. If we can better these times, fine. If not, that is more time I can spend enjoying their company. Aren't WISHers wonderful?
