Its the .................

I'm a tiny bit excited too...

Actually, I'm more than a bit excited, in fact I think I'm going to burst before Christmas Day arrives, when we can finally talk about it in the kevankiki household without using code words all the time princess:

She thinks Grandad is coming for Boxing Day lunch, which is generally boring for her, his name is Micky so the mention of seeing Mickey on Boxing Day isn't really a lie, is it? :lmao:

Still hoping to see you there Small World :goodvibes

Well almost there. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Bought DD a Cinderella princess: suitcase for Christmas and we've packed it ready without her knowing and put a letter in from Belle telling her shes setting off on boxing day to DLP.
Its all wrapped ready with her Santa Sack waiting for her to open the surprise tomorrow. :santa: Cant wait to see her face - she still has no idea whats going on.

We've been planning similar things all the way along, our little (well mine isn't so little any more) princesses are going to be so surprised!

I persuaded DH to buy me a new holdall on wheels, and he has put my few pressies inside it (which I think may include ski socks and a thermal vest :lmao: ), I've just sneaked the wrapped hats in and will hand DD the one wrapped in Disney Princess paper, saying "Oh, this must be yours!" at the appropriate moment.

I am still sure that she has absolutely no idea. She refused a roast dinner on Sunday, cooked herself some pasta, moaning that we were going to be have roast dinners for days to come. Little does she know that there will be no roast dinners after today, for a few days, and she will no doubt be eating in our favourite restaurant - Annette's! :woohoo:

Hope both your DDs were absolutely thrilled. :santa:

My princess: certainly was! She got quite emotional, but I'm not allowed to tell you that :rolleyes1

Hope all your plans came together todaykxx

They sure did in our house! When DD opened her hat and found the printed papers she didn't realise what they were and tried to pass them to me. I told her she had to look closer, she read and said "That's tomorrow!"

We then quickly packed before the relatives arrived over for dinner, etc. It was great for me to finally be able to talk about the trip openly!!!

Yesterday evening I showed her the DLP Magic site, plus my original post telling you DISers all about my plans!!!

Having woken at 4am  I am up and dressed in several layers, will wake DD and DH up around 6am - DH is worried about getting us into London, and finding St Pancras in the traffic, so we plan to leave around 7.30am! I don't care if we have to sit at St Pancras for longer than necessary, rather that than miss the train, which leaves just before 1pm.

Hope everything went to plan in your house too Small World?

Sorry didnt get chance to reply to this before we went.

DD was so excited when she found out about about her trip.

We had bought her a new Cinderella suitcase and packed it ready to go. On top of all her clothes was a Christmas Minnie and a letter from Belle (her favourite) telling her about the trip. She opened the present first and as I passed it to her I commented about it being heavy so that prompted her to open the case and look inside. She saw the letter and opened it and read it out loud. (It said she was going to DLP on boxing day) I then said "When are you going?" and she repeated "boxing day" but still didnt really seem to have clicked so I said "Boxing Day whens that?" and she suddenly said- "Its tomorrow!!!" She was then so excited and we were able to tell her all the plans that had been made in secret.

Full report to follow I promise
