It's the weekend 11/24 & 25

PJ is leaving here about noon... here and her roommate are meeting about an hour from here.. (halfway point for roommate) and they'll do lunch and then follow each other the rest of the way to school...

It's been so much fun having her home.. She'll be back home on the 10th or 11th... Her finals are the first of the testing week (they go from a Thurs-Thurs with testing)..

Cheryl Hope he heals quickly after surgery. Elbows hurt!!! I fractured 1 in highschool on a cross country horse course!

Michelle gotta love cell carriers. we're thinking of changing to straight talk I can get 2 lines unlimited and house service for less than we are paying for talk and a bit of texting.

today has been a clean up pieces parts day.

Laundry is done (well throw blankets are in the dryer)
kitchen is clean
emptied and refilled dishwaher

now I'm uploading to snapfish for the penny prints.

Left to do is
organize all photos into an order....... just haven't figured out what order

PJ is about an hour out from campus... She texted when her and her roommate meet for lunch..and when they departed from there... They are following one another and makes me a lot more comfortable.. They were hilarious... they were constantly texting, skyping, facebook messaging each other all break... I can only imagine what Christmas break is going to be like!!

Decorating the house today.. We are doing lo-key this year... Dh took my entertainment center down that I used for displaying my snowman collection.. so I have to wait till next year when we finish the basement fun room...


Need to prep a turkey casserole today too... I think DsS21 is coming over for dinner again tonight... seems like he has spent more time here..and only sleeping at the other place.. hmmmm... wonder what is up with that... Not going to ask... not my problem..but curiousity is there!

pixie dust to Cheryls DH!

Thanksgiving came and went. We marked and branded our calves on Friday. Then helped a neighbor do his small herd yesterday. Dad is still here from Kansas. Think we will take him to the movies tonight and then to Barnes and Noble.

Have to dig out our disney autograph books and/or pages - gotta add the new characters! We leave for Disneyland a week from today.

Just picking up around here, laundry, hanging up coats. a little bit of shopping online.

Sounds like we all had a busy weekend.

Cheryl, I am sorry to hear abut your DH's fall, and will keep him in my prayers for his surgery and recovery.

I remember the days when our girls went back to college after Thanksgiving break... sometimes they had riders, other times not. No matter, we always worry!

Got a lot of cleaning done today. Yesterday was my granddaughter Bella's 2nd birthday party. Can't believe it has been 2 yrs.

Thanks for all the well wishes for DH. The specialist is going to try and squeeze him in for surgery tomorrow, said the sooner the better.

Glad to hear Sarah is safely back at campus!!!

PJ and her roommate set up their tree and a bunch of them were have a potluck dinner from everyone's supplies sent home from parents!

Spent the day at the ER. DH decided to "help" his mom and managed to fall off the roof and shatter his elbow; there are at least 10 bone fragments He will stay at the hospital until they get his pain under control, then surgery on Wednesday or Thursday. Yikes, my poor honey and yet I'm mad at him for climbing on the roof
