Do I need an ADR for this location, I'm thinking that I do but just want to be sure. Thanks

You may not need them but it is a good idea. They are great by the way for either breakfast or dinner. I have ADRs for breakfast there every morning for my trip and one dinner. Great Prime Rib.pirate:

DH and I will be at POR in September, we stayed here last year, just the two of us. This year we will be brining both of our mothers and 1 yr old DS. I was wondering if anyone knows if they offer roll aways because the trundle bed won't work for our situation or will we need to bring an air mattress? Thanks!!:cutie:

Our first stay @POR DEC 2008--:santa:
Is there an updated list of activities/shows/little known Disney treasures available @ POR anywhere?
TIA!!!:)

Well, only a few hours and counting! I'm excited to be heading back to French Quarter!!

Is it true that at the quiet pools you have to bring your own towel or get one from Ol' Man Island ? If so does anyone know why ?

The quiet pool by our room did not have towels but we did have towels hanging in our bathrooms for the pools.
I also called mousekeeping and they delivered 6 more towels tot he room while we were at dinner.

The quiet pool near our room had a towel return bin, but no towels. :confused3 We picked up a few extra towels at Old Man Island to use at the quiet pool.

Another pool question-
How far is it to the French quarter pool? Do they have towels?
Is there a slide at Old Man Island?

:flower3: TIA

POFQ has towels by the pool. It's probably about a 15 minute walk between the resorts. You could take the boat to POFQ and then hop on any bus back to POR.

It's sure beautiful walk between the resorts if you don't mind the stroll. Sometimes this walk is a way to think about the day you had or the day that you are going to have. Nice time to soak it all in.

We have reservations for 5 at PORS but did not specifically request a trundle bed. Do they automatically give you one if you have 5 people? I don't see any mention of an extra charge in our paperwork. I guess I just assumed they would give us one.:rolleyes1

We have stayed at POR with 5 people a few times and each time there was a trundle bed there without us asking for one, so I would say if they know you will be coming with 5 people there will be one there.

Thanks walted and kidsgobears (are you from Chicago too?)!
I am excited to know we have so many pool options! Though in Dec, you never know what the weather will do! :santa:

Anyone know if there is a slide on ol Man Island?

Yes there is a slide that my kids loved. My sons were 7 & 6. My DD (almost 3) went on it and I stayed at the bottom to catch her. DH was able to signal to me from the top of the slide to let me know when she was on her way down.

Thanks MICKIETHEPOOH. We will try a dinner or breakfast one day on our trip.

Thanks DISNEYOLIC. I won't be remodeling the room just want to make sure the bed doesn't have a non-movable bottom.

WALTED what is the campfire all about? I haven't seen any information about that yet. Do you know any details?

Thanks everyone.:)

Do you usually get your requests? We are just a couple, (just 60), and would like the Mansions. Is there much benefit going for Water view. We have stayed at POFQ twice, and there is no real benefit in paying for a water view. Thanks.
