I have been trying to go over the thread and I can't find my answer. Are the trundles only available in AB or are they in the Mansion area as well? We are planning a big family vacation in 2008 and my first choice is WL, but if the budget won't allow it we are looking into POR.

Unless things have changed, the trundles are only in Alligator Bayou.

AB only.

I will be honeymooning at POR October 8-14th. This will be my first time staying at POR and wondered for those of you POR die hards what unique things there are to do at the resort. I know when I've stayed at CBR some unique things to do are walk the island and look at the tropical birds, listen to the steel drum band that played by the pool on some nights, and relax on the beach in the hammocks.

I would love to hear your alls suggestion to get the most out of the resort itself!!

Thanks!!!

We stayed there last october and on our first night there we took a carriage ride. You have to reserve it ahead of time and it was wonderful. It goes around por and French Quarter. The sun was setting when we went around 7:00pm. This was a "magical" beginning to our trip with our family.

We stayed at POFQ several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride to Downtown Disney. It was scenic, relaxing and our guide was very informative.

We head to POR for the Salute to Baseball Tournament June 30-July8th. Team of 11 - 11-year old boys and their familes. Will they have lots to do at POR? Thanks! :cheer2:

I have tried to read through many, many of these pages and I am confused as to which buildings in AB are smoking optional. There seems to be a change from the first page in this thread -- I know there was a refurbishment and I wondered if things changed?? :confused3

We are a family of 5 and will require a trundle and would like to request a non-smoking room and maybe include a building request. Thanks for any information!

Are there refrigerators in EVERY room? Also, elevators in AB?

I believe there is a fridge in every room. NO elevators in the AB.

Has anyone ever taken the bass fishing excursion from the POR? I believe it goes to the DTD Lake. Was just wondering how it was. TIA!

Richie

Does anyone know which buildings are non-smoking or smoking? I am more concerned with buildings 14-19.

Thanks in advance!!

POR just became available!!!! After a great stay at POFQ last year, we had stopped by POR many times during our stay and decided to try it out this year! Well at first it wasn't available but now it is! We REALLY want to stay in the mansions but won't freak out if we don't get them :)

O.K I am so confused. I want to put in a request for a certain room but I have no idea where. My mom thinks the mansions look really pretty so I'm thinking the mansion side is good but is there a specific area in the mansions area I should request. I don't want to walk to far everywhere but I don't really mind. I am a non-smoker but my mom smokes- although she says she doesn't really need a smoking room- but is there smoking areas on the property? I would appreciate some help!

Building 14 was non-smoking when we stayed there in 2005.
