Why can't I find all the school supplies in one store? They were out of blue erasable pens at Target. I was able to find some at Walmart, either very popular or very limited supply. Now I have to go to Office Depot to find the rest. The same thing happens every year....

Does anyone know what a Medium Red Stick Pen is? Is it the ones from Bic? I asked other moms that were there and they had no idea what it is. The supply list for 5th grade is longer than for 6th grade.

You're correct, it's just a regular BIC pen (usually a round white shaft). Red, medium point.

Glad I don't have to do the school supply routine anymore

The last 2 years DS needed a red marking pencil. Now this teacher wants a red pen. (Let's waste more money on supplies!) I found the same thing. I had the toughest time finding a ruler with inches and centimeters. Target, Toys R Us, and Publix all had inches and milimeters! I finally found one with centimeters in Office Depot (along with the pack of paper that is 3-hole punched along the side.) DS's teacher wants them to have a wooden ruler. Only milimeters were on those! The ruler, which was the ONLY one I found with centimeters, is wood but has plastic edging on the top and bottom. That will have to do! So for me it was Target, Toys R Us, and Office Depot to get all his supplies.
