It's so annoying that you can't make adrs past mid- Jan!

Ugh- I know they are switching the reservation system, but I am having a vow renewal down and WDW and I find it so annoying that I can't make my adrs yet. My first ADR I want to make is 1 day past the cut off.

The reason I find it annoying is that they don't even say 'call back oct 1 and our system will be up'- the lady was like, 'it should be up sometime in oct'. So what am I supposed to do, call every day starting Oct 1?

I am not a super planner, but for this event I am!

Thanks for hearing me vent- anyone else have any other more detailed info on when they will be taking adrs again?

it was reported that they were taking ADRs through 2/22/09. I don't know if that extra month helps you or not. See link

well, the menu is all different- voice activated now (maybe this is old news).

They are booking reservations through 180 days according to my CSR.

You can reserve through February 22nd. Beyond then should open up on or about November 21, 2008.

No they aren't. They are booking up through February 22.

I called today and talked to a CM asking for Crystal Palace for March 5. (180 days would have been September 6)

She went into the system and attempted to make the reservation. She got the message that she couldn't.

The system is closed past February 22 until sometime in November. The CM told me November 21, but it could be earlier.

We have 2 great CM's IMACM and DisneyDine who post here. They always tell us a day or two in advance of any changes to the ADR system. Keep your eyes open for a post from them. I bet they'll be the first to break the news on the change/opening of the system.

The exceptions to what I posted above are Chef Mickey, Victoria & Albert's and CRT - they are still at the full 180 days as they have been throughout the process.

Sorry for the confusion- the CSR I spoke to seemed like they might have been new, so that explains why they gave me the wrong info.

WOW! I'm SO glad I saw this thread!!! I've been MIA from the dis and Disney planning for about two weeks, and figured I had until at least Oct 1 to wait to finish my late January plans anyway.

I just called, and made ALL my ADRs, and got EVERYTHING I wanted. I'm so happy, I could just yelp!
