There are literally hundreds of teenaged girls at Pop this week. Due to a few past bad experiences with large teen groups I was a little worried but everything is fine. All of the girls have been lovely-polite and considerate with no loud chanting or running amok at all hours.

I don't know if this is new (first time I've seen it) but a portion of the food court is set aside in the mornings for the largest groups. It really helps with the morning chaos. All in all, unless you hit the bus stop at the same time, the groups haven't been a problem at all.

I was wondering what the story was! We saw a large group with Quinceanera shirts in MK last week. Like you said, they weren't at all a problem and seemed to be having a great time. It just never crossed my mind that a huge field-trip-type group would go to WDW for a birthday party. I'm jealous!

Over at Sports they will give them their own dedicated Cashier in End Zone Food Court at times.:)

The Chanting has definitely decreased in the last few years.

We also have found the vast majority of The 15s to be wonderful young ladies who are SO excited to be at WDW.

We always enjoy talking to them about their Countries and we give them little "momentos" from our State for them to take back to SA.:)

We met a group of Quince girls on a cruise last fall, and they were wonderful kids.

My twin teens, adopted from Colombia in 2015, had their 15th birthday last spring. It's quite an event!

I really wanted DD to have her quince at WDW but she wants the big party at home because she wants everyone there. Fine....I guess. lol

BTW I'm in NJ. Not as big as coming from South or Central America.

And they are taking a HUGE Field Trip-all the way from South America!:)
One of my good friends is from Brazil, and she had told me once, that yes, for teenage girls in Brazil it's HUGE! They save and plan for it for years! She said it was one of the best and most memorable trips she took in her life, and I'm sure it was! I would have rather gone to WDW with friends than have the huge Sweet 16 I had that was pretty much forced on me.

I was just at Pop...returned Friday. There had to be at least 40+ rooms taken by these kids...with 4 per room!!! They were pretty well behaved though. I never had them on a bus.....I did see them boarding private buses though. And yes, the far side of the food court was roped off..but it wasn't roped off until that morning...at least that I saw. I sat at tables in that area several times prior to Friday morning.

I've seen them in NYC as well as WDW

Some of the SATGs go to NYC and then come to WDW-you can tell which ones because they will be sporting their New York Yankees hats at WDW!:)
I can't imagine how much the trip costs the parents!

Thanks for the update. We will be at Pop starting the middle of next week. You really can't expect to avoid groups at the Value resorts, as long as they are not overly loud and unruly or cutting in front of people in the bus or ride lines I am fine!

Definitely!:)

It is something that is planned for and looked forward to for years.

I don't know how typical this is,but we were talking to a SATG at WDW one year and they told us that they each had $3000.00 "spending money" for their trip!:)
