I called MS this morning and found out that I was finally in the system and I got my member number!! We purchased resale through A Timeshare, 150 BWV pts., April Use year. 150 banked from 02, and all 03 points. The total time was right at 2 months from beginning to end.
I immediately made my first reservation, 10 nights in a 1BDR(3/27/04 to 4/6/04) at BWV standard view. I was shocked and surprised that they still had standard view available, as the end of my stay goes into Easter break. As a matter of fact, I was talking for a while with the very helpfull CM, Martha, and when she finally put in my reservation, 4 of the days disappeared!!
She told me to wait for a little while and she would check again...but still no luck. Finally, she put me on hold for a few minutes, came back and said that she had to get her supervisor to approve something, and we got all the dates we wanted!! I'm not sure where the rooms came from, but she made it sound like they did me a big favor (maybe they took pity on me as a brand new member?).
Anyway, we have also already planned out our next trip for Dec 05 (this time a 2bdr as our baby will then be 3), and I have never even seen a DVC resort!!! Speaking of which, we are already thinking about where we should add on. Maybe I'll wait until we get there and check it out first!!
