7..oh my goodness!! 7 days till I get to take my daughter for her first Disney Trip!!! I am so excited! Looking forward to seeing everything through a 4 year olds eyes!!!

Well I'm officially at 23 days and counting. I say "I" because DS has no clue. It's a surprise Halloween and 7th b'day trip plus his first trip to Disney. I'm about to pass out from the excitement. I plan to tell him the morning we leave for the airport. Staying 10/30-11/6 at CSR.

I know what you mean! I have 11days until we leave and 8 days of work... I love counting work days too doesn't seem so long. Haha. I'll be taking my fiancé for his first time! It will be my 12th! He doesn't understand my excitement! That is why I have the boards! Have a great trip!

Thanks!!! My friend Abbey that is going with me hasn't been to WDW since middle school. I have 12 more days of work...I still have to get our shirts made for MNSSHP. I have all the materials, but I still have to get them together.

We will be at POR on October 19 - 24th. Celebrating our belated 25th wedding anniversary (one year late) and my birthday (on the 19th). Just DH and me.

It is our first time staying at POR. Can't wait. Almost at single digits.

Anyone kids missing school? My daughter in kindergarten not really worried about her but my son in 1st grade and is little behind just in learning in general. I am deff getting all their work upfront, just feel bad! Lol they'll be missing a week and maybe 1 more day plus they have a day off that week, hoping to score cheaper airline tickets so we don't have to drive so then they would only miss 4 days!

Agree I'm also getting their work plus when we return they have another day off for some sort of teacher day, so they can catch all up. Not really worried about my daughter though. We have 18 days left!

We have the same ages and will miss 5 days of school with 1 being a party day. I just think what if I or they are not here next week. Will I regret make up work or not making memories? We are getting work ahead of time to start on as well.

My 1st grader is missing 4 days of school and I wasn't really worried about it at first.... Until the teacher started sending home all the make up work! It's a LOT! Plus she's missing 3 tests (it's the last week of the semester) so I'm trying to get her ready for those by Friday (we leave on Monday). So aside from packing and last minute finalization of our plans, now I'm basically homeschooling too! Lol! But she'll be fine, and it will all be worth it once we see the castle again!!!!
